We would like to inform you that, due to our storage and CDN provider's outage, we are encountering technical issues that may cause difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and GOG Store. Already downloaded files are in no way affected.

We are trying to mitigate this external problem by switching to our secondary storage while our provider is restoring data. We would also like to highlight that those issues do not affect purchasing games. Currently available discounts on selected titles will not be extended due to the above.

It is our team's top priority to resolve those issues and we aim to resolve them as fast as possible. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

... not saying you got your CDN on wish.com, but it sure sounds like you got your CDN on wish.com :P. HA with hot spares should be a part of the service IMHO.

Jokes aside, here's to a swift resolution of the outages and an appreciation to backed up offline installers.

Hope it gets solved quickly, also hope this pushes to an overall of the overall system to ensure it doesn't happen in the future.
Since more than a week I have the issue that I cannot access the "Games" page at all, it timeout 99% of the time, the only way I can download any game is through Galaxy. Is it somehow related ?

That's why I keep the installers of all my games stored locally. Kudos to LGOGDownloader.

And that's the whole reason why I'm here and not on Steam. Hoarding 18-something terabytes of offline installers has finally paid off lol. Kudos to GOGRepoC.

Seems unrelated. Feel free to open a ticket with our Support.

What about the 30-day refund? If someone can't even download the game they just bought, it stands to reason they can't realise they want to refund it either. I'm not buying anything right now, so it's no concern to me personally, but I still think you should extend the refund for all purchases made while this trouble lasts.

Pretty extrodinary - I've been a GOG member for almost ever and I think this is only the 2nd time I can remember issues like this have happened.

..if this were some other digitail distributor - I would hve lost all my games access and not able to logon...and yet here - the only reason I knew about it was because I checked this page.

same. That's the only reason I still use gog.
I like to download and use my games offline, without any client.
I'm playing Divinity Original Sin right now, that's the only reason why I'm here (I looked at the forum to complete a quest that was still open... to see if it was a bug... and I was able to solve my problem. It was not a bug, I just had to talk to 1 NPC that I still missed to talk to), but I can return to play without any issue because only gog got a problem, not my own pc, not the game.

I think was my problem because I change to Win11 and many old games fail to work. Hope you fix it asap.

Appreciate the transparency with this issue. I've been trying to download something and kept getting an error right at the end of the installation (thank fuck for unlimited data broadband plans) and spent some time updating everything before I found this notice.

I guess on the bright side I finally got the new version of the GOG client I've been putting off installing out of sheer pathological avoidance.

Thank you and SargonAelther for reminding us of the advantages of owning our games DRM-free.

Too bad it didn't happen to Steam at the same time, it could help "convert" people away from the Dark Side.

Hoping it doesn't take too long to get it all back to the usual conditions.

I was wondering why I was unable to download Cyberpunk, thanks for the notice
