We would like to inform you that, due to our storage and CDN provider's outage, we are encountering technical issues that may cause difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and GOG Store. Already downloaded files are in no way affected.

We are trying to mitigate this external problem by switching to our secondary storage while our provider is restoring data. We would also like to highlight that those issues do not affect purchasing games. Currently available discounts on selected titles will not be extended due to the above.

It is our team's top priority to resolve those issues and we aim to resolve them as fast as possible. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
I honestly thought this would have been fixed by now, but I still can't download some offline installers. At least I downloaded pretty much all of the offline installers for my games before the outage, so I'm not locked out from anything. However, when new updates come out for the affected games, I can't download them.

Which games are affected?

Surprisingly only one. The game, DLC and patches give a "<Code>NoSuchKey</Code>
<Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message>" error when I try to download.

Last time I checked, the above mentioned and several other games (10+) couldn't have their offline installers downloaded (when I saw that the game's installers were still unavailable, I assumed the rest were too). I just combed through my entire library (601 games, demos were ignored), and literally everything else was fixed. Good job GOG team. There's just one more left.
***************************

are any downloads that you DO get down corrupted or bad in any way? so not about if there may still be some game that you cannot download at all, but if you do download but unbeknownst to you the downloads may be corrupt.

i assume the "cloud/host provider" issue is now fixed, and if you are downloading games including offline installers, whatever, the downloads are good?

not interested in hash/bash/cash (yes, being silly) checking files manually or using python scripts to do "dis 'n dat" or even installing each download to have the gog installer self integrity check do its thing.

I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF WE ARE OKAY IN DOWNLOADING GAMES TO BACK UP - WITHOUT INSTALLING AND/OR DOING THINGS AFTER OURSELVES TO CHECK. (i now have around 30 new games at around 200gb to grab, so i don't want to waste my time if there are still confirmed (no b/s or trolling or hating lies) download issues or file corruption.

===> should i "mass download" or wait longer?

Another alt?
Had trouble all day trying to download Batman: Arkham Origins. It downloaded alright a couple of days ago, but I had to move it to a new hard drive for space. Today, it complains, so I try to uninstall and reinstall. It keeps telling me it's failed the installation. Had no trouble downloading Arkham Knight today, though.
installing GOGGalaxy was the biggest mistake of my life frfr

Lucky you then. You uninstall it, end of story.
Now immagine you had to pay Galaxy alimonies for teh next 18 years.
So I decided to archive all the games I have on GoG on an external drive. I have 400+ games.

I noticed that any game that has an offline installer file larger than 2GB won't download. Any thing smaller than that seems to download with no problem.

Example list of a few games that wont download are:

A New Beginning - 3.8 GB
Age of Wonder 3 - 2.3 GB
Absolver - 13 GB
Witcher 2 - 20 GB
ATOM RPG: Post Apocalyptic - 3.4 GB
The Council - 11.9 GB

Is this problem actively being addressed?

Looks like it has been going on for quit some time. If anyone knows a workaround it would be appreciated.

thx

Are you trying to save Mac or Linux offline installers onto a drive that's formatted with a DOS filing system, along with that FS's 2GB limit on file size?
This is the Police 2 has been stuck on "Getting file list" for the past hour or so (offline installer.) Restarting Galaxy didn't help.

Same issue with The outer worlds and couple more games. This happen right after the new Galaxy update. Good thing downloading from the website still works.

No. Only Windows ,english offline installers on to a M.2 drive. Then later will put them on a 1TB MicroSD for storage.

I must be misunderstanding because I was going to do a download to test, but my Atom RPG downloads are 5.3GB, not 3.4, so I guess you're not just talking about the standard Windows offline installers?

They appear to be referring to the 1.180 to 1.182 patch (see attached image).
