Great, thanks for the Info. I saw these topics but did not look at the contents, just took a quick look if any update stickies had appeared.

Aaaah. For some reason I didn't get what the update was about, I only got it when I read your post. xD

Totally forgot that the version we already had is the DOS version. To me it looked like the same version was for some weird reason added to the extras as well.

Btw: Anybody know which version is "better"? Are there some notable differences that make one of the versions superior?

Cheers.

Looks like there is not much of difference for me.
Heroes III, Kingpin, and Ultima VII updated?

Man, I only got notice for Battle Isle Isle and Heroes II, didn't notice the others.
Weird, Kingpin is still the v1 installer for me...
try with for downloader , if doesn't change anything , could be related to this

send a PM to Firek

Same for me, nevertheless I use the downloader or direct download. There is also no version information beside the download. Maybe will check tomorrow again.

I get version 1.0.1.1 both with the downloader and without. I'll try again tomorrow and if isn't updated by then I'll inform Firek.
You can leave Firek alone ;), Kingpin is not supposed to be v2 yet. There was a slight glitch, but it was corrected.

Being as I was online when the version changed, and JudasIscariot fixed it so that it could be downloaded (as it was coming up 403 Forbidden at the time) I downloaded it and replaced my previous version. So, is the v2.0.0.6 version that I downloaded last night faulty, and if so what is wrong with it? Do I now have to roll back to the v1 installer?

Technically no, it's not faulty. We just cannot replace it yet.
