Get Mystery Games in Leprechauns’ Hats • 300+ deals up to 90% off

UPDATE: The Sale is coming to its end and Daedalic's catalog joins in for the final stretch, alongside steampunk dungeon-crawler Vaporum. Make sure to snatch your Leprechaun hats and sweet deals until March 19, 11pm, everyone!

Oh, Paddy, dear, an' did ye hear the news that's goin' round? It's the start of the GOG.com St. Patrick’s Day Sale, lasting the whole week, I found!

Come join the festivities - we’re launching with 300+ deals up to -90%, and Leprechaun Hats full of great Mystery Games!

Since we’re all Irish this week, how about having some fun, and checking what the GOG Leprechauns have for us, hidden in their mystery Hats! Every Leprechaun Hat contains a Mystery Game that you don't own yet – it's a great way to discover something new and broaden your horizons. What's more, those Mystery Games that are also on sale cost more than the cost of a Hat, so you know you’re getting a great deal with every Hat you open. Check the FAQ for details.

And if you don’t trust in what the mischievous GOG Leprechauns will pick for you, choose from more than 300 deals, with discounts ranging up to -90%. We’ve selected for you some all-time classics, as well as the best games from recent years including Little Nightmares (-50%), Ys SEVEN (-25%), ABZU (-50%), Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (-75%), Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition (-40%), STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic II (up to -75%), Yooka-Laylee (-66%) and many more.

The GOG.com St. Patrick’s Day Sale will last until March 19, 11pm UTC.
"Pick up your first Leprechaun Hats and get a grand Mystery Game!"

is this a bonus or just buy a hat, geta game?
Oh god, not this **** again.

Last time I bought a bunch of stars and wound up with the entire "bit trip" catalog. That was my wake-up call to stop buying these things. God forbid there might be a "bit trip pixel piece of shit no effort atari 2600 sucked the first time" title left I don't already own.

oh hey.

it's that time again.

that time for everything i hate in a sale to be in one place.

terrible layout [again]? check.
random loot boxes? check.

it's like gog goes out of their way to make sure i don't like their sales :P check. :P

oh well. this saves me some money.

seriously, though, gog. the layout is AWFUL and the random loot boxes are scummy. you're better than both these things. please stop perpetuating them.

ApexProcyon: I would love to buy games, but since it's for celebrating Saint Patricks Day we should put all our money stout and whiskey. Anything less than shitfaced would be disrespectful towards the irish.
Same. Sorry, I spent too much money on games these past few months already. Now what I have left it's for Jameson (or Bushmills if I want something good) and Guinness. :)

Guiness is delicious. Nothing beats booting up a good turnbased game while drinking guiness or any other fine porter/stout.

That's probably how I will celebrate St. Patrick.

JMich: Haven't we had this discussion before? :)
I think i recall something now that we speak, haha! Good catch, it is fixed now, thanks! ;)

pkk234: Also, off topic, but how do I reply to someone without having every single sentence carried over?
By just editing the post.
Just one thing to keep in mind: let the first "quote-on" and the last "quote-off" untouched...everything in between can be altered.

Edit: attached a picture, maybe it will make my post more understandable.
The marked part is what I delete, the unmarked part is, what the quote will contain.

Wishmaster777: It's very simple - if you don't want to buy a mystery hat then don't do it.
That was my opinion until I've noticed that GOG manipulates regular discounts to make those Mistery Boxes more attractive.

By the way, I'm not going to touch my wallet without reading RWarehall's spreadsheet.
I like such events, they are fun, sometimes you're lucky, sometimes, you're not. But I'm a bit disappointed. The rules say "each Mystery Game is on sale for more than just the cost of a Hat"... mine isn't on sale. I have "full retail price" old piece of work, that shouldn't be available through the hat and for sure is not worth price of a hat...

Yes they are and more: you can ask for giftable keys instead.
You got to contact support first, but they are quick about it.
