The Spring Sale on GOG.COM runs until April 5th, 2021, at 1 PM UTC.
Indeed, i bought HoMM III with the 90% discount because i don´t know if this discount repeat in the future. But only two offers each 48 hours was weird.
I don't see any new Snowdrop deals or anything new today. While list of items that went on sale is nice, the 48-hour special sale had a rather short list of games with a total of 5 games (one was same game different edition).

Did I missing something? Usually GOG puts more effort into their specials than this, strange.
.

Nvm, I saw the answer further up from a blue. It is strange that the flash deals are so limited this sale compared to every prior seasonal sale. Wonder why GOG is having a tough time securing their typical flash deals or specials.

Oh well, maybe next season.

Paraharaha: As the subforum for Darkside Detective is not overwhelmly crowded...and the game is on sale i would like to place my question here: i mentioned an entry on exophase that DD seems to get achievement support (maybe because the second season will appear soon here and this one will have trophies). But: on exophase there us only one trophy present and its name seems not to match with any of the steam ones...

If somebody own the game and uses Galaxy: could you please kindlly check if there are trophies supported now?

Thanks in advance.
I think they are testing the implementation of the achievements, and what you see is just a placeholder for now, but it's still good news. In fact now that Darkside Detective is published by Akupara I was expecting it sooner or later, they've always shown a lot of care with their releases on GOG.

If I have official news I will post it in the usual thread!

Thanks for your kind explanations. As i use exophase just occasionally for informations regarding a few trophies it was just a coincidence that i mentioned this entry for DD. :-)

Now i have - again - this annoying bug that the purple notification dot is always present...but since last weekend i do know on how to get rid of it. I guess while solving this i will hear Purple Rain from Prince.

No more big releases for the duration of the Spring Sale? I'm hoping for, at least, another one or two significant, exciting releases.
So what have people bought so far from the sale?

Snowflake sale: War Wind II is a must-have for RTS lovers who can play games from before 2000. It continues the story of War Wind. WW was innovative, IIRC the first rts game to introduce RPG traits. The world was original and suggestive.

WW was the story of a rebellion, told from four sides, two of them against the rebellion and two of them rebels (the most difficult campaigns). WWII compounds the situation with two human factions that have arrived in Yavaun. If you like good old games, this is one, and it is practically for free.

The first game was gifted by GOG in the near past, I remember purchasing the second part a day later. sadly the first part has serious classic ddraw performance problems even with the bundled wrapper included or maybe because of the wrapper and my poor laptop. I do not remember how could I resolve it, I think I changed the wrapper with a diffeent one. But It had stutters here and there.

The second part works fine, and is a very good game. Recomended for slow RTS and micromanagement lovers. The concept is very interesting and refreshing for the so called "Warcraft clones" era.

Yep, True. It changed the state to a Free Game, it was not a temporal sles Gift.
