Martian12: I do understand the people that complain that sales constantly pop up everywhere. Really. It was not like this a couple of years ago, not only on gog but pretty much everywhere around the internet. Personally, I would like gog (for example) to have two major sales all the year. I don't know when, maybe summer-christmas. Sure, some smaller ones would be nice surprises, e.g. that black friday sale we had a couple of weeks ago, but I believe that two major sales would keep the interest of the consumers high and it would be more "healthy" for the site.

zeogold: I don't think people are complaining so much in the sense of "Oh, great, why is it ANOTHER sale?!" but more like "Why wasn't it a release instead?"

Me, I'm just kinda sad they brought the XP thing back. I never really cared for it and preferred the "mystery package" thing much better, but meh, if that's what works for them to keep drawing in dollars, so be it.
No, if you look on the previous page (edit: that is page 2) , you would see users complaining very much in the sense of "ANOTHER sale?".

One minor complain I have so far with this sale, is that I noticed that most stand alone offers in the home page are just games from the bundles. Pretty much everything you see is extracted from its bundle and presented as a stand alone offer. Maybe I ask too much and It doesn't bother me that much, just sayin'.

Thanks for the freebies. It seems Homeworld is the one and only hit to my wishlist this sale; but I'll keep an eye on those bundles just in case.

I don't remember a year when there hasn't been one even if the Fall and Winter sales were just as late as this year.

Too bad I can't turn the games you can get for XP into giftcodes. Zero interest in them so they'll just sit there until the offer is over same as last sale.

By now i wonder why gog simply doesn't the "all year long sale" because this is getting ridiculous.
Also i wonder how much developers suffer from this, basically being forced to sell their game for ridiculous discounts, even new games get discounted. This can't be healthy for those companies, especially the smaller ones.
