Uncreation: Hi,

I don't know if anyone asked this question before and this thread is pretty big now, so sorry if this has been answered before.

I was thinking about buying The Witcher 3 goty irl. From what i know if i do that i can redeem it on GOG as well, right? If i do that do i get xp for it in the sales, like i would if i bought it here directly? Or do i actually have to buy it on GOG to get the XP?

Thanks! Also i looked in the faq but i didn't find something like this mentioned there. Sorry if i missed it.
Hello.

You only get XP by making direct purchases from GOG. Merely redeeming a code or gift won't net you the XP.
@GOG: You might want to check the Nordic Adventure Bundle. It links to the Nordic Action Bundle...
And another "bundle" without a bundle discount ...

Looks like it only cannot decide what it should be as the URL also says "adventure", only the head line says "action". ;)

This is the most flawed sale GOG ever has done. :P

vgezer: In the leaderboards I see some guys are checked-in 6 times. How can they do that 6 times although I could do it for 4 times and never missed one?
I have the impression that you missed the first two days of the sale. The Winter Sale started on December 1st, one was able to unlock the 7-check-in-badge today.

Well problem is that the banner teases different games than those actually in the bundle - which is why I'm guessing that they mixed up two Nordic bundles...

Btw...the discount seems fine for me...

You get a higher discount when you select all games from the bundle?

For me the discounts stay the same, regardless how many games I select.
Yes, the missing Nordic bundle with Dark Fall and Ori would be a lot more interesting ;)

I've completely ignored the listed games at the front page, but you are right. So it's even more messed up. :D

Another round of different prices for the same game in different bundles, e.g. Jagged Alliance 2:
Strategy First Bundle with Pick 7: €2.39 (-75%)
Aavak Collection: €3.79 (-60%)
to GOG,

The text in the Nordic Adventure bundle logo has nothing to do with the bundle linked - I am certainly interested in the Adventure Bundle contents mentioned in the text, but not in the bundle...

Finally a game I could check.
I do have more than 7 from Strategy First bundle, so JA2 should cost €2.39 for me. Seeing the Aavak Collection, it does say €3.79. I check it, and move to checkout. Game now costs €2.39, so it does give me the greater discount.

Just ignore the collections (and the Nordic fake bundles). They are only confusing and do not give you any advantage compared to the individual game discounts.

Yes, at least at the checkout you seem to get the best discount. It's still confusing.

GOG, making sales confusing and a PITA to navigate really puts one off even wanting to spend money.
It's kind of shame that bonus games redeem on your account if you don't have them, I wanted to give Shadow Warrior to a friend as I won't play it anyway but no. :)

Yeah, the page linked is hosting the Nordic Action Bundle instead of the Nordic Adventure Bundle for some reason (look at the title at the top of the page).
