Got The Ball via GOG Connect, thanks guys.

The Ball and I have a sorted history as that is the first game I bought physical were the game wasn't on the actual game disc, just a Steam installer....... that was really irritating.
Another day of uninteresting deals (for me, on unowned games) :-(

mighty.ape.acct: Devolver Bundles are weird.

All 3 say pick 10 to get max discount but:

#1 contains just 9 individual games + a whole bunch of DLC OR upgrades that I don't want
#2 contains only 6 individual games + the other stuff
#3 contains just 9 individual games + the other stuff

Why are they split like that? Why not just one bundle where you can pick 10 from the whole lot?

Seems really unfair to force customers to buy DLC/upgrades if they don't want them
They're hardly forcing you to do anything, it's just an offer. Other than that silly comment I agree with you, although #2 is now Pick 7 with 7 standalone games.

#3 I can sort of understand, it is ten separate products even if one of them is a non-game DLC that I wouldn't be interested in.

#1 is odd though, it's pick 10 but as of writing there are only 9 games in there and no non-bundled DLC, so you'd have to de-select a DLC edition and buy a base edition and DLC upgrade separately to get the discount. That surely can't be intentional.

And it is a touch misleading to title them 'build your own bundle' when you have to buy all of the games to get the full discount, the only choice being whether you want the standard or DLC editions.
is Connect being glitchy? Went to the page and it claims I could add 4 games, did it and the 4 games got added, went to the library page and see 5 added?

Seems Tropico 2 is added via Connect but not listed on Connect (sad 4 wasn't part of the deal :P)

thesmashingone: I'm actually a bit surprised The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition is on sale, as it hasn't seen a discount for two years until now!

HypersomniacLive: Funny thing, just yesterday I was thinking that it never goes on sale, and ta da, here it is today.
Looks like someone had a change of heart, I'm not seeing a discount for that particular game any more...
Ugh, TWD Season 2 will bother me so much, since Season 1 isn't even on GOG Connect. How could you Telltale.
GOG: I'd like to give my thanks for 4 free games through this round of GOG Connect (Tropico Reloaded, Tropico 3, Still Life, Gorky 17), and also for 1 game from the previous round (Limbo). Prior to all of these, every previous GOG connect promo I either didn't own any of the games on Steam, or I already owned them on GOG LOL.

Of course I've never had any expectations to get any free games this way, but it is awesome to be able to convert some cool titles in the collection to full blown DRM-free GOG releases like this. This way when Steam goes out of business in the future, I've got failproof backup copies of some of my games. :oP

Also, even though I haven't been able to keep close tabs on the community lately and what all is going on, keep up the great work on these promos. I love the way all of the new GOG style of promos work the last 3 or 4 times in recent months. The promo style is so much more user friendly and easy to navigate and deal with compared to even a year or so ago, very much appreciated. It's nice to see this evolution taking place as the store grows.

Congrats on all of the progress that has been made!

mecharma: Hey guys, Activision fixed -- apologies it took so long :/
Thank you for fixing (i.e. putting on sale) the first Legend of Grimrock! <3

Oh and thanks for "fixing" (i.e. removing) the discount for The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition so quickly :(

That's the second time during this sale I've had a discounted game in my cart and before I could pay that discount was removed again without notice (the other were the Crypt of the Necrodancer DLCs)...

Thank you :)
I'm hoping to see more classics. Both sales so far have been a little thin on those (or maybe I own too many already). The last two refreshes brought up nothing that interests me.

Just an observation. The sale is great, but I'm no seeing anything I want to buy. More classics!
Okay, this has been perhaps one of the buggiest GOG sales I've ever seen.

Today's contribution. If I "Pick 5" in the Gambitious sale, instead of going down, the price for the Hard West Scars of Freedom DLC actually goes *up* from $.99 to $1.19. Doesn't seem quite right...
YAY for new GOGConnect games! Nothing for me this time, but I'm glad the program continues!! =)

They're hardly free games since you've already bought them, but luckily the publishers are nice to let us have copies of our already owned games on GOG as well. It's a nice change from generally only being able to get a Steam key as a secondary option in the past (usually with bought games that were then later released on Steam as well)

Thanks for pointing it. Was looking at Manhole this morning, but postponed final decision to later. :/
