The devs really have a look on details and make an old school adventure with HD frame by frame hand animated characters - fully voiced. I so hope that it will arrive on GOG. I installed and fired up GRID yesterday and it is fucking sweet. Definitely a game I was bumming having missed picking it up (but then I let it go, because what can you do?) and it's sooo nice to have and be able to play now.

I picked this up when it was in the goodbye promo and because I only have played games like Need For Speed before I ended up crashing my car just seconds after the race started. It's definitely a good game but if you are used to just push the speed button you have to think again. I tried this with kb+m though and I might give it another try with the controller I bough meanwhile.

I find a controller to be crucial for racing games, even arcade-y games, but even moreso when there are good physics and partial simulation/simulation

Good choice! Nice that someone put it on the list. Interesting platformer with nice setting, story and physics, however at some point it became way too hard for me.
