Old Man Winter took a Viagra last night and got it on with Mother Nature. Really wish he'd wear a condom.

I feel you, I'm in the middle of ANOTHER blizzard right now.
Approaching 280 inches this year.

Dang - you've really gotten THAT much? Lake effect?

I should quit bitching about this (hopefully) last snow, given that we have Canadians, Yoopers, Norwegians, Finlanders, etc. around the forum....

I love telling people that and getting their reaction. Yes we've gotten that much but people up here know how to deal with it, so while visability may be for shit it's actually not much of a problem. DON'T feel bad for the U.P.. If you are anywhere near a city and get just a few inches you are probably in a world of shit and for that reasons us Yoopers are the ones who feel bad for you. Feel free to complain; you've earned that.

We deal with the bigger stuff pretty well down here in southern WI, but I think our record snow total from a few years back (I'm thinking it was right around 110") is less than half your average. That year actually wasn't that bad, since winter didn't drag on forever like this one seems to be doing.

But yeah, it comes down to what one is used to having. Besides, that just means you get more snowmobile weather.
Fainted and fell. Wrist hurts. Onwards to the hospital yayy

Yeah. Luckily there was no fracture. My right hand is packaged in those support bandage things now, bright red ones for coolness. Going to have to use the lefty for things for a couple of days.

If I may suck up for a second, we REALLY like having you here so do us a favor: next time you suffer an injury, get it looked at and taken care of and THEN make a post about it! I don't want to find out you bled to death because you were busy telling us how hurt you were rather than getting the treatment you need. :-)

It was kind of a stupid situation to begin with. I fainted an hour's walk away from home. I had to walk home to get a phone number so I would know where there's an active first aid hospital thing. After making the call and finding the place on a map, I figured I might as well post that before I had to leave for the hospital on the other side of the city.

It was pretty nice that I didn't hit my head or anything. In the waiting room, next to me was a guy with a big wound on the back of his head, and on the other side a woman with a bleeding eye.
My brother's new bike has Dunlop valves. They are a pain in the ass.
Were you dehydrated? Did you eat anything during the day? Sounds like your blood sugar crashed and you didn't have enough water.
Although without more info on why you fainted, that's just a personal observation. Good to see you're better.

I know the most probable cause. Don't want to mention it on a public forum. It's a condition.
fuk you corruption, why are people so corrupted, all the technology and knowledge should give people more sense in life, to think nice and better, not the other way around
