Thanks for taking part in our grand Vacation Quest, adventurers!



UPDATE: Wow. These have been two wild, adventurous, exciting weeks! More than 1000 deals going for up to -90% were made available throughout the Summer Sale, and you definitely showed them lots of love. Most hugs were given out to The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine and Wild Hunt, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, System Shock: Enhanced Edition, Shadowrun Hong Kong & Dragonfall, Pillars of Eternity + Expansion Pass, and Day of the Tentacle Remastered.

The most prominent huggers were featured in our XP Leaderboards and, after a suspenseful race, Hardman77, rwoodsmall, and leonmerts managed to secure the top three spots. Congrats, you guys, hope you enjoy the spoils!
If you want to know where you stand, you can still go to your experience page, and check the list of glory. The page will remain open for one more month, until July 22, so make sure to also redeem your free games until then.

Last but not least, our two GOG Plays events got our Twitch community all hot and bothered, as more than 50.000 unique viewers joined the madness, which peaked at over 1300 concurrent watchers. Objectives were completed, XP boosts got handed out, and fun times were had by all.

Hello ThomNG, thnaks as always for your presence! :)

Since you work with Nordic, I wanted to ask you a question: do you perhaps know when the patch that fixes the controller icons (now invisible or formed by black squares) in Darksiders 2 will be released? I'd like to play that game, but that serious bug is giving me problems understanding the controls and it is devastatingly bad during quick time events (I don't know what to press!).

Not sure when 2FA landed - thanks for pointing it out on the Experience page - and I was very excited to enable it; but I have to say, email notifications for the second-leg are pretty uncommon and not particularly secure. I'll pass right now: please implement a more pseudo-standard Google Authenticator solution.

It will not happen throughout the Summer Sale ... however the whole work on that title is coming to an end ... now full focus on the great titles within the GOG Summer Sale, they and the sale itself deserve it!

i noticed some old casual games at gamersgate: Pusher and Itch! , i like them so i got them long time ago.

I have desperados(1st game was the best imho) also have neighbours from hell 1+2 (also on retail cd)
Black mirror 1+2+3
i found a very good game: Chronicles of Zerzura , a game reviewing site said it was made by the team that created Black Mirror 2 and 3.
I have been 'nagging' here for the game to arrive.... i have it at steam and it is drm free after download so thats a good thing, i hope this game will be here at gog .

phaolo: If you post codes directly, some bad people will "steal" them, sadly.
Luckly they managed to grab only one.
I don't blame someone for taking it, I was just late. But not replying to Ichwillnichtmehr..what a bad manner. Just hope the person who took it could enjoy the game.

Pheace: So, the free exp total you can earn is ... 4400 + the High Five badge which, if it gives anything more, appears to be 500.

So it's either 600 or 100 short of getting... *anything*.

While I understand it makes perfect sense to have rewards only go to people who are actual customers, it doesn't quite feel right to gamify part of it but have next to no reward for that part of it. Would make more sense if System shock had been locked behind it at least (except, that's for stress testing purposes so I understand it's not good to gate it)

Heck, an avatar or whatever at least, something! :p
There is also the twitch bonus, so it might give a free game combined. We'll have to see how it's calculated though.
