Soon, we'll tell more Telltale tales with The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and all seasons of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series. Stay tuned!
I like this :) Wishlisted, since I do not have the time and the backlog is huuuuuuuuuuuge, but reducing (yes it is, stop laughing). Some day ......
Regarding seasons & episodes: on PC we now have only the option to buy a whole season. Console (I think) and mobile devices can buy individual episodes.

PixelBoy: Actually, an episode means a new game in Telltale context. A series of games which are bound by the same story is called a season.

I don't know if things have changed, but it used to be possible to buy individual games (that is, episodes) without buying an entire season. To give more incentive to buy seasons, you used to get DVD versions for free when buying seasons.

On the other hand, Telltale games outside of their own store have always been sold as seasons, AFAIK.
Maybe that was once true with Sam and Max and Strong Bad, but for the latest Telltale stuff, it's either the full season or nothing.

For PC yes, which is what counts for GOG of course. For consoles, they use a different model. The first episode is sold standalone. You can then either buy the remainder on a part by part basis or as a season pass (which is slightly cheaper) to obtain the remaining 4 episodes. Xbox Live has often given the first parts free to account holders (which is counted as a purchase on 360), you can then buy the rest of the season if you decide you like it.
TellTale have to be the most creatively bankrupt video game developer around, almost everything they've ever done has been shamelessly piggybacking off the latest "in" TV series or movie.

CarrionCrow: Oh hell yes. Now I can pick up Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones.

Thank you, GOG and Telltale. =)
How would you rate WAU and TFTB ?. i quite like WAU....
What about Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures?

Not sure I'll like their new stuff seeing they're just quick time events and then dialogue and choices which have no effect on the story.

As for Telltale not fixing bugs, in Sam & Max Season 1 Episode 4 - Reality 2.0 you can't run for some reason. I read that the update had a game breaking bug which Telltale couldn't or wouldn't fix so they didn't patch it at all.

It's a real pity that Wallace & Gromit game got removed from GOG, I bought it while it was here and think it's great so I do hope it comes back. As far as I understand there are licening issues and possibly lack of interest from Telltale to bring it back.

It was removed from all digital stores, because Telltale's license for the series expired. Doesn't seem like it will come back anytime soon (or at all).

For me, it is quite good. Although I preferred the fairytale-like charm of TWAU to the sci-fi like setting of TFTB. Worth playing anyways.

Well, I don't necessarily agree with that "latest" as some of their games have a long distance timewise from the original source material (Sam&Max, Monkey Island, BTTF...).
Otherwise that's what I have always felt about Telltale too.

I mean, they have some very nice franchises that they are working with, but the only thing that would count as original in their catalog is Puzzle Agent series.

I suppose they need to have a certain number of sales to keep them going, which they couldn't achieve with unknown material. But they will never get any "landmark" games this way, like Deponia is for Daedalic or something.
*fingers crossed for Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People*

I can't really rate either of them.

With Wolf Among Us, I've seen it being sold by the competition, but I didn't want to buy from them, so I never played it.
Same thing with Tales, I figured it would be a pass because I wasn't going to buy it from anywhere else but GOG and they didn't have it at the time.

Artoemius: I second the request to clear the issue of a major bug in Sam & Max Episode 1 for which Telltale Games refused to provide a fix. For now, I'm keeping my (and my wallet's) distance from this dubious publisher/developer.

Count me as well, as someone who won't spare a dime for telltale until I see the bugs that are already fixed somewhere else, patched in their gog releases.
I didn't even realize Tales From the Borderlands was out

CarrionCrow:
I just saw a comment you made about a beer I was having last night (fruit offsetting heat) - you were certainly right about the brewer going for a one note experience. The base beer is a very hoppy one with a lot of fruity hop notes that I would hope would bring out some nuance, but those were totally crushed by heat, heat, pepper and heat. I hope my drain enjoyed the beer more than I did LOL ;)

Also, I refuse to say "hops notes." Ever.
