Telling tales of Telltale titles.

A time of more DRM-free Telltale games is upon us. We signed the deal, and we're set to unleash a torrent of past and future games from the award-winning adventure game developer! All of the games will premiere with full GOG Galaxy support, that includes Achievements and other goodness like one-click installation, auto-updating, game time tracking and more!

The first of our new Telltale releases is available today: <span class="bold">Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series at 40% off during launch, right on schedule for the worldwide premiere of Episode 4: Sons of Winter.

<span class="bold">Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is your chance to not just watch or read about the pathological madness, but to experience and play it out with your own personal touch. This Telltale Game series tells the story of an all-new House of Forrester located somewhere in the north reaches of Westeros. As the War of Five Kings rages, your family is caught in the maelstrom of warfare, revenge, intrigue and horror, in a struggle not to win… but to survive. <span class="bold">Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is a brand new side-story that bumps into familiar characters, and weaves across events known from the TV series which echo across the entire known world. The release discount will last until May 30, 12:59 pm GMT.

Soon, we'll tell more Telltale tales with The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and all seasons of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series. Stay tuned!
Adventures aren't really my genre anymore, but more blanket agreements with major developers is always a good thing.

Silverhawk170485: As I know it is like a Point&Click Adventure not an RPG.

Sarisio: Since when romance have become defining feature of RPG? :)
Since Baldur's Gate II and its famous "yeah, we now Anomen is whiny and annoying and not that good as a cleric, but wait! if you romance him his personnality will be less annoying and his stats get much stronger!"

SirPrimalform: 1. I don't understand why Telltale wouldn't release their more recent games here until Galaxy was here. Given that the games aren't multiplayer, do Telltale really care THAT MUCH about achievements and game time tracking?
They are... well, not very creative when it comes to achievements ('Finished Chapter 1', 'Finished Chapter 2' etc.)
Anyway, it's rather cool to have those games on GOG :) As much as I don't trust Telltale as a company and I don't like the direction they've taken, they never failed at storytelling.

markrichardb: I guess they don't do it any more but TellTale used to send out free DRM-free hard copies of games purchased digitally from their own store. Minus postage and packaging of course.
Indeed. They removed them just before I tried to order my last disc and I still feel ripped off. The disc was listed as a feature of what I purchased and I only put up with their securom crap on the download version because the disc was DRM-free, but I never managed to get it. >=(
Well, I guess one good thing that can be said about Galaxy is the slew of extra games we're getting!
Looking forward to seeing what else is to come.

(Now, if only they could get Strong Band's Cool Game for Attractive People! I love Homestar runner)

Doubtful that we will see Poker Nights here. No way to redeem the trophy items for TF2 and BL2 on GOG.
Btw. the CSI games are pretty boring. I played two of them and they are definitely below average in quality.

Or they can simple include the said items as goodies.

SirPrimalform: Two thoughts:

1. I don't understand why Telltale wouldn't release their more recent games here until Galaxy was here. Given that the games aren't multiplayer, do Telltale really care THAT MUCH about achievements and game time tracking?

2. I am loathe to give these scammers any more money. They still haven't given me the disc I paid for and probably never will.
I won't be giving them any more money in the future, that's for sure.

Which is why I want keys for the games I paid for already.

Barry_Woodward: Vote for Telltale Games titles on the wishlist:

JMich: In an old issue of MAD Magazine, there was an article of "How to realize you are stupid". Two of the images (one after the other) were "People repeat what they say to you because you seem to dumb to understand it at once".
Please refrain from posting the same thing over and over in a thread, especially in such quick succession.

yyahoo: Umm, Barry, how many times do you have to post your wishlist links in the same freaking thread? Once is enough dude...
It isn't Barry's fault, I believe. The Game of Thrones section glitched out for me earlier on. I posted once, and when my post didn't show up, I thought it was my error and re-posted again. And worse, I couldn't gain access to my post till 10min+ later, where I quickly edited the embarrassment of the post repeating it's contents 3 times in succession. Barry likely suffered the same too.

Grargar: When was the last time that you asked?
Great news! More Telltale is always good!

He's posted it 3 times now, each an hour apart. It wasn't a mistake. It's just something he does.

Post 3 has the list. Then he posted it again (post 51). He had already posted it once, yet though he should post it a second time. He then made a few more posts in page 2 (with 50 posts/page), and then he decided to post the list a third time.

So even while I encountered the glitch myself, this seems intentional, not accidental.
Could someone clarify something for me. Does this game, and presumably all further ones, come with the non-optional galaxy install? Or any component thereof of galaxy.
