Random_Coffee: I have read the first two books (A Song of Ice and Fire), and I will start reading the third one soon. Will anything be spoiled for me if I play the game now?
The game is based on the TV series, not the books, so there might be some differences/confusion.

Yes, but I saw the first season of the TV series before I decided to read the books, and everything that happened in the series also happened in the book. I didn't notice any big differences. Are there any events from the TV series that happen in the Telltale-game that will spoil anything for me that has only read the equivalent of two seasons?

I haven't read the books, but the game takes place after a wedding. So I think this would be Book 3/Season 3.

Alright, I will read book 3 before playing the game then. Thank you for the reply :)
Ooh, so hard to wait for the Walking Dead games. I saw them on Steam, but just couldn't bring myself to buy them because they were, well, on Steam ;), but now they are coming to GoG! Yay!

Can you please consider implementing a timer attached to the game that shows when the discount is going to expire (like Steam does)? Call me spoiled, but if you truly want to compete with them, you should consider ding what they did right and avoiding what they did wrong. I really like GoG but sadly you're really lagging behind Steam quite a lot in terms of clearness and comfort.

There's wishlist entry for this:

DoctorGOGgles: Official answer from Telltale about the Sam and Max bug.
They "have not announced any plans to update the GOG version of the game"

So, Telltale stays on my blacklist of game companies I will not buy from.
They also refused to give me my BttF DVD and even removed a game from my account. They are complete scumbags.

Yeah, well. A shame I didn't read it in the news related to telltale games. I wanted to buy it and assumed the discount is going to stay the weekend, like Steam usually does. I had to leave and returned on sunday. Needless to say the discount was gone.

Noticed the announcement with Witcher 3 expansion pass? That one has a timer. Why didn't Game of Thrones have one? /sadface

I usually hate their "Illusion of a choice" games, but wanted to give GoT a try.

Grargar: You could ask Support again now. After all, this is the first Telltale release ever since 2012, so they might have deemed it a lost case till now.
Looks like there's no point in doing so, after all.

I'm not a least bit surprised. Telltale games must be the worst game company ever when it comes to support.
