ciemnogrodzianin: Do you like it?
I've found the game very frustrating. One of a few titles I dropped this year...
I enjoy it quite a bit. What do you find so frustrating about it?

Well, I don't know, hard to tell. I've found my opinion and [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_quit_in_2018/post23]here, but there are no details, so if it was then too hard to say what's wrong, I won't be able to answer today, I suppose...
Kyrandia book 3 - Malcolm's Revenge atm. Played book 1 and 2 earlier this weekend for the first time. Book 3 I played a lot already in the past. Classic! <3

Played for about two hours, even though I could swear it was only five minutes. Kind of feels like a mix between XCOM and Alpha Centauri. Here's hoping it makes its way here.

Somewhere in Italy, back in 2004.

Hammerwatch, Dingovania mod (Dropbox link in first post). I enjoyed it more than the two official campaigns that are included with the game. Lots of great custom assets, sweet original soundtrack, a whole bunch of creative ideas well implemented, quite lengthy a campaign on top. Strays from the mostly gauntlety style of the base game in a good way in order to structure more of a slight RPG experience. Total recommendation.

Pics from last night's race at Valencia, Spain. Coming next: the big event, the 24-hour endurance race at Spa.

Have fun, I was really surprised at the production quality of it.

What I like about a lot of those screenshots are the colours. You can tell its a game if you give it anything but a glancing look, but some of those screenshots could easily be mistaken for real life if you gave them a quick glance. I think it's because they got the colours exactly right. Like this one

or especially the sky in this one

I've noticed in some water colour painting as well. It's clearly a painting, but the perfect shades of colour makes it look weirdly lifelike.

Btw have you ever played NFS: Porsche Unleashed? perhaps marketed as NFS:Porsche 2000? It's another racing game where you play through the ages, only its restricted to Porsche cars, but it's a pretty damn fine racer too.

It's not only the colors but also the textures that have a certain photorealistic quality, especially the ones in NR2003 and GPL. Keep in mind that most of these screenshots are slightly processed; things i mess with are saturation, brightness, contrast and on top of that i add a slight vignette & some blur; i like blurring the background or the foreground depending on what i like to emphasize, but i ultimately despise motion blurring while playing racing games. All in all, while the screenshots i upload are post-processed, it isn't anything sophisticated and it takes me around a minute to do each pic.

As for the Porsche Unleashed, i remember i used to play it with my dad back then (the PS version, split-screen) and we were having lots of fun. I don't think i've played the single player mode of it though.
OK, I hope you had downloaded your GOG libraries, because I've just chosen Berdyaev path and it's probably the last online message you'll read. Expect the new Middle Ages soon. Over & out.

This is a pic I took about an hour ago when I took my boat out on Lake Superior (which of course is also part of the US/Canada border) to do a little fishing with my friends.

I realized our demented POTUS is upset about immigration but this is getting out of hand!

24 hours of Spa; the moment when you see the sun coming up in the morning is fantastic!
