idbeholdME: Playing through Loki again. Only finished the czech version in the past, which is missing all the voice acting. Acquired an english version to finally hear it and to also try the other option at the end of the game. Went with a spear oriented Norse Warrior, currently also running around with a summoned Valkyrie.

Wondering why this game is not on GOG.
I have physical copy of this game. Never got around to playing it.

Think it's time to install it now.

Good luck. Keep in mind that the game is pretty average in most regards and notoriously buggy.

The Norse Adventures of Zelda... aka Skyrim

Playing Skyrim again, now in survival mode which I actually find rather sensible in its implementation. I also seem to appreciate the game more now that I can only fast travel via set cart locations. Ran into a few minor events I probably would have utterly ignored/missed before while travelling the roads. First time I haven't put any points into lockpicking and I'm still a champ at it; already leveled to 90, simply by going through the usual chests and doors with tons of lockpicks to spare. I'm also much less focused on archery. More of a battlemage kind a gal.

Good times. :)

Still playing Arcade tycoon level 5, the image was somehow too big even in jpg format so i made an imgur link.
Also the last challenge was 80 percent happiness sustained for a year which i beat after the screenshot for a gold star.
I only made two screenshots.

Really like the game, the beginning are rather hard but then it gets better, only once the game crashed maybe because i pressed a button on keyboard or is it just coincidence that it crashed at that time when i pressed a button that isn't marked by the game on the keyboard.

And aren't there better screenshot making applications for windows and a way to reduce the size then just print screent and art app.

Zelda's Hijnks in Norseland ... Skyrim continued

Explored all of the map and finished most of the base game. Still have the Dark Brotherhood quest line to wrap up, and then its off to continue Dawnguard. Still haven't gone to Solstheim at all yet. I kind of gave up on Survival mode towards the end now because fuck me if I'm going to keep riding back and forth repeatedly. That's just unnecessary tedium at this point; also, waiting for my companion to catch up just for them to get stuck on a tiny rock for the thousandth time is not my idea of fun. *shrug* Oh well.

Phantasy Star 3.

Current situation:
* Start of the second generation.
* Playing as Nial.
* Standing right outside Cille.

Except that:
* Nial can't visit Cille (barring a glitch).
* Why is the world all frozen? I thought I fixed that earlier. (And it's not otherwise frozen in the second and third generations.)

* Worth noting that Cille is still populated, and does not look frozen.

Cities Skylines 2.

Take 2.

time spend so far: about 20 hours.

I must say, they've really managed to improve on the graphical side, compared to the state the EA was in when released onto the public. I still prefer to play the simulation with max DLSS and a frame rate limited to 35 fps. This ensures a smooth gameplay experience while managing a fairly low draw on my system. Perfect for those prolonged sittings of creativity and enjoyment (coughs ... softly)
There are also all these nice little details, such as being able to peek into people's living rooms, also some of the overlays have these really futuristic feel to them, which might be inadvertently, with the DLSS shimmer creating its own kind of effects.

Simulation wise, i can only hope Colossal manages to bring what they envisioned to the table. Atm it is a bit of a mess combined with some weird design choices. Demands for specific zones seem to be all over the place in the start of the game, even reaching dead zones here and there (if there is no demand no new building will be built by society) which you have to resolve with adding specialized industry, which is outside the demand factor. Also, the division between low and high rent that is separated for low intensity buildings and grouped for high intensity.... weird!

Anyway, there is probably enough spilled about the problems of this game already.
I found my enjoyment and with only 30 euros spend i'm almost in the green zone concerning the oh so import game fun spend time ratio.
and who knows, maybe at a certain point the game will find its way towards GoG

my oh my

as it turns out skylines 2 is in possession of a nasty left hook

@pleasant surprises

photo's

1&2 the occurrence (an unsolvable traffic jam)
3 the suspected culprit
4&5 yet another incident. Funny thing, the right side completely jams, the left side of the highway experiences disappearing vehicles (must be 3 at work again)

I imagine myself not as the best city sim builder but i do have some years under the belt, hence the nice surprise thing going on

P-E-S: Oblivion with Guns... aka the bestest Fallout... aka Fallout 3... aka "Them's fighting words!" ;)

Been a bit since I last posted in here. Anyway... Watching the show just got me into the mood of playing some Fallout again. Honestly, I was never that big a fan of the originals. I liked their world, but I never really did enjoy playing them that much, which was brought home to me when trying to replay FO1 and realizing I just wasn't having that much fun with it. I guess 1&2 will remain with just that one play through completion. Oh well.

So, yeah, Fallout 3 is sill my favorite of the franchise, warts and all, and I've played all games but 76 and those oddball Brotherhood of Steel spinoffs. I like New Vegas and 4 plenty in their own right, but 3 remains on top for me. So sue me. =P
Not liking the classic Fallout titles that much often seems to be an unpopular opinion, which I share, and I guess I'll meet you in FO court ;) I feel quite the same: the world is unique and extraordinarly well-built, and Fallout 3 is my favorite of the ones I've played. The TV show I enjoyed a lot too.

Here's a side note: a couple of years ago there was an Obsidian stream where Fallout creators Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky played their game. One of the many funny moments is when they comment on the clunkiness of the experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dajGzCKRYw
