You need to see how this one ends!

SiN Gold, a classic first-person shooter with an original futuristic story of fight against an artificial outburst of criminal tendencies, and one of the best level designs of the 1990s, coming complete with the Wages of Sin expansion, is available for only $9.99 on GOG.com.

SiN Gold is one of the great and memorable first-person shooters of the olden days. Upon release it was highly praised for the great execution of its original and involving storyline and great level design, but sadly, it suffered from long loading times and pesky glitches. The fact that the patch fixing these problems was over 30MB in size in the times of Dial-Up Internet didn't help as well. That is how a game that deserves a prominent place in gaming's all-time hall of fame ended up slightly forgotten and overlooked by many FPS fans. With all the trouble way in the past, it is now time to get acquainted (or reunited) with this fantastic title! You can explore different puzzles and new routes each time you play. You will hack computer terminals, control security cameras, and wreak havoc. You will encounter new dangers and intelligent beings in every mission as you fight your way to the ultimate showdown! And you better believe it, an ultimate showdown it will be. The game comes complete with the Wages of Sin expansion.

Begin your crusade against crime and bring down the sinister syndicate lead by the beautiful but deadly Elexis Sinclaire in SiN Gold, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!
Holy crap! Great release. Will wait for a sale though, can't afford 9.99

but great news indeed.
WHOA!!!! I would instabuy if it wasn't for all the $ I've spent on DX copies as of late. But awesome release, guys! You made me a happy pineapple.
I never got to finish this game as a teenager (borrowed a broken disc). I'm probably going to pick this one up shortly.

It is campy as hell, but it is also very attractive. I particularly remember how when you shot at the environment the particle system created fragments that used the same texture as the one you were shooting at. This is one of the better looking and better playing games on the Quake II engine.

In many ways it was ahead of it's time or at the least on the very cutting edge.

Strife: For Sin Episode: Emergence?
Ahh, it looks like I need more coffee as I thought the question was referring to the SiN version we have :)

Sorry! :)

Elmofongo: Does this mean we are going to get SiN episodes later with that drop dead gorgeous Elexis Sinclaire :)

But I thought Valve owned it or at the very least uses Source?

He is questioning about Episodes.I think Valve offer DRM service through Steam and Source engine, and both of them are not inherent.

Lot of us need coffee to be on the top ;).
How come the publisher is Ritual themselves?
They were closed in 2007 did they not?

Punished_Snake: I have this on Steam, the contents are the same?
Does the Steam version include also the expansion pack, Wages of Sin? I recall not, but I was unable to confirm it now.

At least I see discussions online "How to get Wages of Sin (retail) to run with the Steam version of Sin?", which suggests that the expansion pack was not included, unless it was added later to the Steam edition.

Also I am unsure if the Steam edition has the same compatibility fixes as the GOG version, at least there seemed to be quite a lot of discussion of problems running it in Win7 etc.

HAD been - you can't get it on Steam anymore which makes its arrival here pretty damn sweet actually!
Unexpected, didn't see this one coming.

The ancient Steam version crashes upon launch, so my guess is no

dr.schliemann: Bitter disappointment!
I'd have expected Beauchamp to be included as a free bonus content.
Those pics are a public health hazard: My jaws hurts from hitting the floor so hard.

Thanks for sharing those despite the injury. ;)
