You need to see how this one ends!

SiN Gold, a classic first-person shooter with an original futuristic story of fight against an artificial outburst of criminal tendencies, and one of the best level designs of the 1990s, coming complete with the Wages of Sin expansion, is available for only $9.99 on GOG.com.

SiN Gold is one of the great and memorable first-person shooters of the olden days. Upon release it was highly praised for the great execution of its original and involving storyline and great level design, but sadly, it suffered from long loading times and pesky glitches. The fact that the patch fixing these problems was over 30MB in size in the times of Dial-Up Internet didn't help as well. That is how a game that deserves a prominent place in gaming's all-time hall of fame ended up slightly forgotten and overlooked by many FPS fans. With all the trouble way in the past, it is now time to get acquainted (or reunited) with this fantastic title! You can explore different puzzles and new routes each time you play. You will hack computer terminals, control security cameras, and wreak havoc. You will encounter new dangers and intelligent beings in every mission as you fight your way to the ultimate showdown! And you better believe it, an ultimate showdown it will be. The game comes complete with the Wages of Sin expansion.

Begin your crusade against crime and bring down the sinister syndicate lead by the beautiful but deadly Elexis Sinclaire in SiN Gold, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!
I don't think it's been removed from Steam. You get it for free if you buy Sin Episode 1 AFAIK. At least I did.

You're right there.
If you buy SiN Episode 1, you'll get the original SiN game for absolutely free.
But I gotta admit that this is even better with that GOG includes the expansion pack to the game, as you don't get that on Steam at all.
sweet nice release

jamyskis: Awesome game. Will have to pick this up eventually for the expansion.

Wasn't this removed from Steam at one point? Haven't bothered to check as its not available in Germany...
I think you could only get it buy buy SiN Episode 1, not by itself... or something like this.

Other than that, SiN is a nice FPS. Highly recommended. Good release.

Hm, I guess that's true. I remember reading that it got removed a while back, but maybe they readded it.
Great release! Game is very unbalanced though, to the point that the first half is incredibly easy and the second half incredibly hard (even to the point of frustratinly saving after every enemy). Never got the expansion so I will wait for a deal since 9.99 is too much only for the expansion. If it would have been 5.99 it would have been an instabuy!
Beware, I just try to launch the game and his addons but I've only a black screen .
I can hear the sound of menu selection but nothing can be done.
Nice release. I have the retail versions of Sin + expansion pack, but I recall having some issues getting it to run on modern PC, so I went ahead to play it on my old XP PC. There it runs fine at least.

So maybe I'll get this here at some point. Then again, I must admit this FPS hasn't necessarily aged that well. I recall it came out some time before Half-life, which wiped the floor with it (and pretty much any other FPS as well). So I have to wear my rose-tinted retro-glasses when playing this.

But it was the first single-player PC FPS game where I recall damage areas, e.g. headshots. Maybe Quake TeamFortress (multiplayer) and 007 Goldeneye on N64 had that before it.

That's not the case if you buy it with a German IP address, though. They completely removed it from both the digital and retail releases in Germany. SiN Episodes itself is also censored over here.
Go Tomm... oops, nevermind.
Never played this before, what game does it resemble?

That's certainly true - I stopped trying to get past one of the levels where you had to break in because the AI would spot you and raise the alarm whether they could have realistically seen you or not.

The game up to that point was nothing short of sublime - the use of computers to hack locks etc. was inspired. And I suspect the game after that was awesome as well. But that level was a nightmare.

Write to Support when things like this happen, thanks :)
Bitter disappointment!
I'd have expected Beauchamp to be included as a free bonus content.
