Nyktouros: Of course, of course, it
really needs i5 CPU and 64bit system... Just wait for Tetris Remastered Edition, exclusively for brand new i21 Intel and the World's leading and forever best OS - Windows 10!
That is true, it may sound strange but thats what game developing is at righ now: win 10 will +++ all old windowss , cause even intel is on it, basically if all parties wanted they could make win 7 and 8 run on todays processors, the thing is they do not want to do that, cause that would 'cost' them billions of dollars.
Fact is Mickeysoft has a new toy and in order to make sure they are not playing all by themselves, they make sure win 7 and win8 will be goners, real goners so all users will have to use win 10.
Basically win 10 is not bad... but with all the stories all over the internet that its more like a spyware with a build in O.S
instead of a o.s with some flaws that might allow spyware, if you read many posts . the majority complaints about the spying, found a few old topis , dated 2 years ago ( 2016) and people were still complaining and replying today on a 2 year old topic, usally old topics die.... but these ones Die Hard or Die even Harder, reading all the text you see that win 10 is in control and only an very small part in win 10 can be 'tweaked' the rest is big brother stuff.
Anywaythis win 10 is gonna be a thing for decades to come.... as for games, well thats easy: seems even a game that looks like lode runner c64 needs a quad core nowadays, to blame are the click and play and drop n drag tools that are used to create games, in the past they wanted to put as much in as small file possible, today we have huge files, 1 gig to even 4 gig, i saw a exe that was 290 MB or more :D
Exe files should be small and use .dll or other resources to get the main game from, Unity has a small exe that uses Unityplayer apparently as the game, the huge resource files contain the graphics and sounds/ videos i guess
Unity also need that folder that is loaded with a bunch of files.
