I support GOG so I buy here first AND I LOVED Bloodlines so YES PRE-ORDER YAY
Now I wait...................and wait...................and wait
I'd probably avoid pre-ordering this game. the trailer for this thing is a nothing but a pre-rendered teaser, not to mention that the companies behind this is having a real serious with 'wokeness' being ham-fistedly hammered into the story line. Hopefully they won't let politics get in the way of making a good game, but I'd wait to see more of it before throwing money at it.

Can't figure why *anyone* would pre-order a game a year in advance (at least)...;) I wish GOG luck with it--but "soon"?...;) Come on....nothing soon about it. Way too early for this--I mean Bloodlines right now will be very hard to beat, imo.
I've decided against pre-ordering the game, as much as I loved VTMB, I doubt Paradox will deliver a good game.
I'll just wait for some gameplay videos and stick to Bloodlines for now. :)

Edit: It's first person only...damn it :(

Reminds me of the day I bought Deus Ex Invisible War.

Pond86: The issue I have with this is that alot can change in a year. We've all seen games get delayed or canceled in a year, just as we have seen games change dramatically from what they where to what they are in a year. I think GOG took a mistake allowing this so early, and the developers took a mistake pusing it too early.

Korotan: Well GoG offers still until end of the Month regional pricing, first Bloodlines whas a huge succes and the hype train is real showing the most expensive version as top place of the Bestsellers so allowing it now whas a good move because now most of the people who would buy it on GoG are reached.
The first bloodlines was made by different people and had time for patches to fix it's issues because the game engine was changing all the time when they were making it and it got rushed out.
AAH! I see this game bears GOG's "Soon ™". :P

I am not convinced by the price nor the "trailer". I'll wait until it has been launched and reviewed, and most probably, discounted.

Not true, first game was made by the same people, MItsoda is on board, so is the main composer of Bloodlines and there might be other I do not remember anymore. Majority of the gang is back, it won´t be better than that.
I still think the original Bloodlines were one of the best RPGs on PC, despite all the bugs and some unfinished stuff here and there. The story was great and it was fun to uncover it from the point of view of different clans.
Not fun of various editions and in game items, but it is DRM-free gog version so here I go, I feel better about wasting my money here supporting DRM-free cause than on Steam.

jorlin: I would prefer if combat will not be the main focus of the game.
I want superbly crafted story lines with multiple intelligent ways of solving issues at hand.
No grind, illogical mazes, simple fetch-quests, lootboxes or escort missions please.
And be sure to sign non-expiring licenses for the music.

Tarhiel: Agree on all of the above, except the escort missions - escorts in World of Darkness - well, I think their escorting will be of a different kind ;)
Ah, yes, good one :-[ ], <- Wide grin with canine teeth bared.

Only Brian Mitsoda (lead writer) and Rik Schaffer (composer) are back from the original team so far if I'm not mistaken. The original Bloodlines developed by Troika Games had 4 more people working on writing who are not back, directors who aren't back either, etc. It's a bit of a stretch to say the majority of the gang is back, because they aren't. However, Paradox did bring in a couple of key people, which is good, but they're working with a company (Harsuit Labs) that doesn't really have a great track record, nor experience with RPGs.

falloutttt: The first game was made by "Troika Games". The amazing devs that created a masterpiece called "Arcanum".

Now the second game is being made by Paradox. lol that's it.

If you really think this game is going to be good, you don't know Paradox. One thing you can be sure about, it's the insane amount of overpriced DLC. You can count on that!

All the best!
I think alot of gamers are setting themselves up for a major disappointment. VTMB was great because Troika made it.

There's a bunch of Trokia staff working on Bloodlines 2, so there's hope!

I just hope it remains an actual RPG instead of a 'pick a perk hehehehe' modern 'rpg'

Exactly and even tho there's a couple of guys from the old Troika team, Paradox is the one running the show.

Only Brian Mitsoda (writer/designer) and Rik Schaffer (composer) are returning.
