Getcomposted: Support just said that all refunded games are returned to the pool. So someone(s) refunded Tempest, Expeditions: Viking and Shadow Warrior 2. O_o
Funky! That's pretty wild if that's how it happened. Especially as there are a bunch of cruddy games I don't have from the list that could have easily shown up instead. Probably won't take any more chances, as the ones I want are outnumbered by the ones I don't.

amrit9037: Congrats, I am happy for you. Looks like it's your lucky day.
Only Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, RiME and Shadow Warrior 2 interests me but I know I am not that lucky.
Enjoy the games. :)
Thanks, and it really is a luck of the draw. In previous sales like this I've had less luck typically. And even in this one I got about five or so games that I don't want and immediately hid on my shelf. But the overall spread just happened to work out in my favour this time, which is basically how luck works across a group of people - a few at the far ends of the graph and most in the middle. :)

Yezemin: There is a 30 day no questions asked refund policy if you don't download the game. Quite a few people have already refunded their unwanted pinatas. So you should be good.
avatar
Robette: I thought there is a 30 day only if its technically broken/unplayable refund policy?
Just take a look here for better understanding.
Hmm, I own too many of these on Steam already, that's the problem with buying tons of Humble Bundle bundles and not being a 100% DRM-free loyalist (but I do like to support GOG!). Gonna grab a couple anyway and hope for Tyranny or Rime or something. :-)

apparition: I did a buyer's remorse return once with no issues. It went very smooth. Not sure how that applies to this, though, considering how many complaints there seem to be about people getting games they don't want.
Would be nice if there was a method of gifting these games that folks don't want. It's like pulling teeth to get cash into my wallet. A lot of these games on the list are ones that I would like to have.

IAmSinistar: Ah, a successful run today! [...]
Very nice to catch you at such a good moment for you; congrats.
Yesterday I got Memoranda. Today I decided to try one more time & got Republique. Two wishlisted games, I'm very happy!
Well, I should have known better! My haul:

Titan Quest: AE (Own on Steam)
Shadow Warrior (2013) (Own on Steam - was free from Humble Store)
World in Conflict - Complete Edition (Not terribly interested - Also, on sale for 3.39)
Republique (looks promising, had mediocre reviews and some say it is incomplete?)
Kyn (on sale for 3.99, mediocre reviews - often really cheap on other sites)
Guild 2: The Renaissance (Own on Steam - on sale for 2.99)

So not very good overall. Maybe if I didn't own the first two since I really love Titan Quest in particular. Having it on GOG too isn't bad, though I'm not sure I will play it again anytime soon. Republique looks like it could be fun. Will have to sink some time into that game and Kyn so I don't feel that my purchase was a big waste, given that I could have just bought Tempest and a couple other games I for sure was interested in. Ahh, gambling...my old nemesis.

Edit: Tried again and got.... Little Big Adventure (Looks fun - also on sale for 2.99)
Okay, I got it out of my system now.

Thanks, my friend! I hope you are well, too.
Yesterday: Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition
Today: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl

Didn't own either of these and interested in both, although I had my fingers crossed for Pillars of Eternity or Titan Quest.
Got Little Big Adventure 2 today. Can't complain.

I got that too. From comparing the reviews to the Wikipedia page and the store page, I think it was completed later than expected.

The first three episodes came out immediately (on PC), and the 4th took a year to come out after that. The release dates between the mobile version of the first three episodes seem to have been about 5 months apart. So people freaked out at an unexpected delay with (presumably) no communication from the developer/publisher. The 5th episode then came out 4 or 5 months after the 4th.

The store page lists it as containing 5 episodes, but I haven't been able to confirm.
Yesterday: The Guild 2

Today: Darksiders Warmastered Edition
Trine 2: Complete Story
Anno 1404

I think I'm done...

Thanks, looked again and it seems like more modern reviews on GOG mention the last couple of episodes. Looks like it was completed, although it sounds like the devs maybe didn't put quite as much thought/care into the last couple episodes, probably due to pressure to complete the game. Will give it a shot and see for myself, I suppose.
