So I bought 5 Pinatas knowing full well that they may be games that I'm completely not interested in. However, I got Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000 and I absolutely will not play this game due to the content. I cannot manage blood and gore, but I especially cannot manage first person shooters.

Is there any way I can "reroll" that pinata to get a different game?
No.

It's a lucky dip.

Contact Support and tell them your issue. You never know, they may give you a second chance on that one.

Yeah Contact Support about it, explain your issue and if they don't go for it you can always "hide" the game in the library, also see if they can turn the game into a giftable code or something.

Good luck man.

It's almost as if buying something blindly was a stupid idea.

According to GOG TOC you are allowed to trade a game for another game of same value. You also have the right to withdrawal from contract. At least that is the legal point of view.

https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/212632089-User-Agreement

"Early Exchange: you can exchange validly purchased GOG content for a replacement GOG game or video of equal or lower value if your request is made within 30 days of the original purchase, provided the original GOG content has not been downloaded, used or streamed"

"Withdrawal Right: we give you the right to withdraw from a purchase of GOG content without charge and for any reason within 30 days after you bought that GOG content, IF it has not been downloaded, streamed, activated or used in any way before then. If any of those things happen then your withdrawal right is lost."

You can ask if someone wants to trade that game for something more to your liking. Look up the price and check out games that you'd prefer at that sells for the same amount of money.

Possible but still not completely easy since this time the Pinatas don't give out codes but the games in it are added to your library automatically. However support might turn them to giftcodes (if not downloaded). This would of course be the nicest method to get rid of unwanted games.

does that mean you can trade it for anything if the price is the same or less? so if I got PoE but wanted Hollow Knight? or is the "price" not of the game but of what you paid so you'd get $3 in "trade"?

The "price" will always be what you paid for it. Meaning you could get abother 3$ game in exchange.

thanks for the clarifying :-)
Does anyone know if they take your OS into account? I use a Mac and don't want to get games I can't even play.

I don't think so. Yesterday someone said that he uses Linux as acitve OS for playing games and he/she still got Windows-only games out of the pinata.

There is a blue post elsewhere that says no but they'll work on it for the next pinata event.
