Here is what I did...

I woke up (slept in) noticed it was released...
I download it .. (took couple minutes)

I push the play button... held E...
figure out some controls got to option screen ... max everything.

Restart game... and played it.

EnsignSuder: 'The Know' have a fraking GTX 1070 which is more powerful than the 980 (at least that is my understanding of the new GTX 1000 series. And they had major issues and you can see the difference on you tube with their specs listed and see the comparison.

I hate to agree with you, but the game can run like a charm even on mid-range PCs. I even had to turn on Vsync because I got more than 60fps (anything between 70 and 90) on max settings in 1080p (inluding 4xSSAA, which basicalliy means the game is rendered in 4k resolution!) with my i5 2500k, GTX 1060 and 8GB RAM.

The game has some issues, but there are workarounds for most of them (except for the dev's fucked up minimum requirements with hardware that doesn't support OpenGL 4.5 or SSE4).

Yup the min requirement mix up is a thing...
But most of these people keep claiming they have the right hardware... it is just that though claims.

Reality they are trolling... it is like the herds of trash trolls on twitter that target people and now they think they can get away doing it on gog, steam and reddit.

One person even admitted it.. ("IF WE DEMAND REFUNDS ENOUGH WE WILL TEACH SONY LESSON")
Lesson for what? Fun game that works?

Starmade HAS NOTHING TO DO
seriously they are about to start charging for that garbage and THERE IS NOT A SINGLE NPC...
But they added more color blocks
It is also buggy as f... and has community of less than 50 players that rarely play and just show "designs" they make...

The other game..
That is the ugliest game I ever seen.
Good fuck the emp game makes horizions and minecraft look like best graphics of year game.

Mean while... I am exploring planets , caves , under oceans fighting pirates and upgrading gear ... exploring lore and solving puzzles... in no man skys.

I am currently ult tabbed
