Finally, the sky is within our grasp! Did you reach out to it already? Are you planning on doing so during the weekend? Well go on, show us how your universe looks like!

Every planet in the vast, boundless galaxy of No Man's Sky is a unique ecosystem, with different vistas, creatures, and environmental conditions greeting each and every one of us when we begin our adventure.

So to all you explorers out there: capture these opening moments of your journey in a one-minute video or grab some luscious screenshots and share them here with the rest of us spacefarers.

So, GOGarins, how does your universe look like?
Playing Gothic 1 in my freetime.
Having a great time with it honestly! Going at my own pace too.

It will likely eat up most of the rest of my vacation time hehe.

phoenix155: Too bad the game didn't come out for the Xbox One; I'd be playing it right now. Anyone know why that is?
Sony funded the development and marketing of the game, so I don't imagine they wanted to share it with their biggest direct competitor. ;D

ThermioN: openGL feature levels are not related to the hardware, unlike DirectX. You only need a driver with the required openGL support.
Then allow me to rephrase my question: Does the latest driver for the 6750M even support OpenGL 4.5? HD6000 series doesn't get AMD's Crimson drivers. They're stuck with the old Catalyst driver from last year.

From what I've seen so far, it supports openGL 4.4.
Are you using the latest drivers for this GPU?

I'm not trying to play this on a 6750M. That's phoenix155 ;) I just tried to show him reasons why the game won't run. I just know too well about the discontinued driver support for the HD6000 series because I still had a HD6870 when AMD switched to their Crimson driver.

I have a GTX 1060 now and got the game to run at a smooth 60fps at maximum settings (After some fiddeling with the graphics options. I had to turn the "max. Frames" setting to "MAX". Any other option locked the game at an unplayable 20fps). But I know why I got it on Steam instead of GOG... I don't fully trust GOG's patching with new games and... I wasn't sure if I'll like this game, so I wanted to have the option for a refund (in other words: I wanted to play a demo). And I made the right decision: This is the first time I used Steam's refund option :(

real.geizterfahr: I'm afraid that's not how minimum requirements work. Does the 6750M even come with OpenGL 4.5 support? No Man's Sky won't run on anything below that, no matter how good your GPU is.
Developers don't know how the minimum requirements work either. Because they've put nVidia car with OpenGL 4.2 as minimum requirements, and then told, that OpenGL 4.5 is required.
The title screen looks incredible! But that's all I've been able to see unfortunately. #NoMansCrash

Hopefully the bugs on TellTale Batman have been fixed, and I can start in on that while they're working on NMS.

real.geizterfahr: Your GPU is well below the minimum specs. Scroll down to "Differences" and see how much faster the minimum 7870 is.

phoenix155: If I can run Elite: Dangerous on this thing, then I shouldn't have any issues running No Man's Sky at minimum settings.
That's not how computers and software works, I'm afraid, especially with borked pc ports like these.
My adventure was really cool, I ignored the big bad hype monster, banked £50, and played something else!
Very Cool Game!!
Never crashed on me, but had it slow down (chug chug) after 2 hours play. so i did that Gsync fix and now a little better FPS and no chug chug. runnung at around 56-74FPS depending on if i am flying or on ground walking.

love it. it has a little placement glitchiness going but other then that, it's a sweet game.

trying to level my slots, on my suite on PS4 i have my suite at 25 slots so far. this one 18. fun stuffs. still on first planet.

Set my thrusters to "Pray"!

I was able to eventually get this running pretty smoothly on my laptop, but it's still a fair ways from an ideal play experience. It glitches and slows down to a crawl fairly often, but I haven't seen it completely crash (yet).

ASUS N56V8
Intel Core i7
Nvidia GT 635M 2 GB
8 GB RAM

I lowered everything down to low settings.
Anistropic filtering set to 1.
Max FPS set to Max.
Anti Aliasing Off.
V-Sync Off
Resolution 1280 x 720 (the same as it would be on PS4)

See the attachment. It may help save your experience.

Edit: Max FPS because for whatever reason it helped the game run much smoother. I can play for about 5 minutes before I see noticeable slowdown, but it doesn't stay slow. Usually it's momentary before things pick back up. I'm praying that the patch Gods get this running smoothly. For the time being, it's workable. It runs much smoother on my desktop, but I'm out and about this weekend, so I'm stuck with the laptop. I was able to get off my first planet and make friends with an alien by giving him 10 units for some tech.
