Petrell: Welcome to GOG Asylum. Be mindfull that nothing here works the way you expect it to. ;-p I do hope you noticed the giant "Please leave your sanity behind when entering" neon sign when you entered as there is no turning back now! X-D
Thank you, the sign took a lot of work to make and I would prefer it if people left their sanities for me to collect, it's quite important for a... um, a project I'm working on... yeah. A completely sane, good, and natural project.

EDIT: Oh, that post was over a month ago.

The edit is quite fitting.
Is it too late to say "Welcome!" and "Have a nice stay" ? :)
I'm decades younger but my first game for my first PC back then (2001) was Myst too (and Age Of Empires). Good memories and, no kidding, I had the solution to resolve on of the Myst-riddles in a dream! I can't believe that till this day...
I've yet to play its successors. *sigh* ... Wait... Hey! I've yet to play its successors! Yay! :D

Bookmusicfan5472: Good afternoon,

I decided to buy some of the games on my wishlist.

Between working, reading, and preparing for my wedding in four weeks, I haven't been around much. Sorry about that.

Jim
We shall forgive you...but only because you apologized. :)

And congrats on the upcoming nuptials!
Good evening,

@ gamefood: Myst has four sequels: Riven; Myst 3: Exile; Uru;; and End of Ages, but I'm pretty sure you knew that already. The oldest games I have are the infocom interactive fiction (text adventure) games from the 1980s, many of which are available on GOG. I bought eleven games for $US20.89 at the sale that GOG had in June, including the first five Zork games (at least three of which are interactive fiction. Today I purchased the other three Zork games, all graphic adventures, and because they were a series, I got a dollar off of each.
