Ppl, please, do dont post your trade list here more than once. make links to refeer to it. Thanks.
I have to say that i am trading far less in this thread compared to the old thread. I think this is mainly because in this thread we mostly post bumps instead of full lists. Now it irritates me to read the same list over and over again but thats better than not see any list at all: i cannot be bothered to click on a bumpy link that guides me to a list that is probably the same list i saw a couple of days ago.
Id rather see all full lists under each other so i can scroll through them, than having to "click to open, read list, click to close" every freaking bump link.
Just my 2 cents, happy trading to you all.

Maybe have bumps that list changes.

Just wanted to say I agree with this; obnoxiously long lists or list spam is not good but the bumping with only a link doesn't seem ideal to me either. I'd prefer people posting full lists or item highlights.

So what do you guys suggest? You cal always make some kind of google or any free listing site you know. Also I don't think that there is a correlation between you not trading as much and not listing half page of your lists because 80% of the time people see the same bundle games over and over and over again. Plus people seem to buy cheap bundles themselves nowadays and are stuck with it :p However you can like list the most important or the things you are really interested in which takes less than half of the page or something. Just like Impaler does. Otherwise you have to agree that we'll see the same items again and again. Also VIPERs is bumping his/her list all the time (despite people saying please don't) and hasn't got any successful trade.

Anyone has better suggestions feel free to say so :)

BranjoHello: Bumping my list.

EDIT:
Since someone just surprised me big time in a very very pleasant fashion, whoever first reads this and look at my list can have one game from my have list free of charge.
Just reply to this post and say what you want. ;)

maybe being more objective and just highlighting the things you really want could be more effective instead of posting a full list. i´ll try this now:

want: Wastelands Strategic Bundle (U$ 3,5) http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-WLSB/wastelands-strategic-bundle-bundle

have: the correspondent value on steam wallet for any game or cards that you want
bloodrayne GOG key

thanks

In my opinion, the most pleasant list bumping technique is to simply post a link to your old list, along with any new games you might have added to that list.

This way, people who are familiar with the content of your list will only have to take a look at the new games you have added, whereas newcomers have the ability to browse through your whole list.

An example of such a list would be the following:

Bumping my list.

Recently added:
•Game One
•Game Two
•Game Three
•Game Four
•...
•Game n

Of course, this doesn't mean spamming your recently added list with every post you make - you should only use this above format if you add anything new to your list.

Otherwise, I think you should be allowed to highlight a few games from your list which you believe are special.
By just looking at a few other lists, it should be easy to determine which game in your collection is a bit different (and perhaps more sought after) than the games that appear on everyone's lists. In this case, you can make an 'honourable mention" of the game with each bump.

An example of such a list would be the following:

Bumping my list.

Worth Checking Out:
•Game One
•Game Two
•Game Three
•Game Four
•Game Five

This method should perhaps have some additional rules, so as to prevent people from spamming massive lists over and over again. Perhaps trying to keep the number of games on your Worth Checking Out list below 10?

Just my 2 cents on the matter.

well if everyone is adding 2 cents to each post, soon we'll have enough budget to remaster a classic gem :p

But nice suggestions, I think highlighting or copy pasting your most recent obtained titles is a nice idea (some members already do this)
Updated my list again.

Agree until I come into lists that have a lot of useless info (won't mention names)

So this idea sounds more like it.
