Watch out everyone. if you think someone you know wrote you, but the chat history is wiped, it's not the same guy. If you don't have a chat history with someone then search for a post of the guy you are sure is the real man, like grargar or hummer010 (watch join date and rep) and start a conversation from there. if you have another chat open then without the offer, it's one of the fucking imposters! block them immedietly and never ever send any codes to them asswipes.

On the note of the influx of recent scammers faking the names of respectable traders, I have a proposition:

What if we (traders, that done more than a few good trades in this thread) send you links to our trading posts, so that you could include them in the OP.
Aside from the convenience that might bring, it can also help against Imposters by highlighting that, newbies wanting to trade with someone from that list, to always making sure to send the trade offer by starting the conversation from that linked trading post.

I just got a PM from him asking for my Trade List. With the real Grargar already on my message list... Hence, why this is certainly a scammer.

At this point I'm almost offended no one has either tried to scam me, accused me of being a scammer, or used my name to scam.

It's as if I smell so bad even the flies won't go near me. :P
