monkeydelarge: Anything is possible. But keep in mind, that the game was accepted by Steam. So maybe it's good enough for Steam but not good enough for GOG? LOL I don't think so.
Uhm... You don't use Steam much, do you? You have to wade through oceans of shovelware crap to find a halfway decent game over there.

I use Steam everyday and it's not that bad. Most of the games that are crap are early access games and they are only crap because they are unfinished. But eventually most of those games become decent games when they are finished.

It certainly isn't that good either. The mere fact that you find it laughable that GOG should have higher quality requirements than Steam is, well, laughable.

mobutu: [...]
In the meantime I expressed my concerns by sendig them an email with the request to analyze the game as usual, not taking into consideration any censoring.
and how will you ever know they have not done exactly that?

mobutu: So we'll see in about a week what's what.
See about what? How will you ever know?

Yeah because every single game GOG sells has amazing game play and is high quality. LOL Check out the reviews for Pixel Piracy here and you will find a lot of people who disagree with you. LOL You are a funny guy.

PS
It seems you forgot that Gabe Newell personally checked out the game Hatred and thought it is worth selling. I'm sure Gabe Newell has excellent judgement when it comes to games.

Yupp. That's why we never heard anything about Half Life 3 again and got a shitload of new hats for TF2 instead.

I was right this entire time. GOG rejected the game because of what the game expresses.

Nothing to do with quality or anything else.

People love TF2. And it's easy money for Valve...

First, let it be known that I have no interest whatsoever in Hatred, I don't know about it, don't care about it and don't give a damn where it ends up being sold.

That being said whenever someone uses the "Gabe Newell checked it" argument that's an instant red card, the argument is over and lost.

Back to the bench with you!

What reason do you have to think so little of Gabe? Is it because he is fat?

No, now you're just deliberately being a moron. "Higher" and "lower" are by definition relative concepts, not absolute ones, and I'm quite confident that you are aware of this. A higher standard of quality does not mean "has only perfect games". What it in fact means is "has on average a higher quality of games". Again, I am certain that you know these things, so I'm not quite sure why I have to explain this to you.

Fine, you go ahead and be sure of that.

play reports, reviews, general consensus, etc. if it's deemed good then gog censored. if bad then gog rejected it because bad.

Oh gods. Now it's come to this?

I think very highly of Gabe Newell, but right now I think very very VERY little of you.

You're not engaging in discourse, you're simply spouting platitudes, hoping that someone else will parrot them. And when someone doesn't you attack him with pitiful arguments.
What you're doing is not arguing, it's the argument sketch.

Funny, that's what I was accusing you of. That you use it as your defense screams "projection".

Aaaand I'm outta here.

Comparing Hatred to Postal, it looks like Hatred has much better gameplay due to targets not being ridiculous bullet sponges.

I don't think you used "LOL" quite enough times in this discussion to fully establish your superior intellect. I'm quite sure you could fit it in there a couple more times.
