Cleaning Friday for some event? That makes sense. They would take advantage of increased traffic related to EU2 giveaway (until 24th October 2020, 1 PM UTC). And there is still Weekly Sale ending as usual, on Monday, 26th October 2020, 2 PM UTC. Why move one sale to avoid overlap when another is still overlapping?

A request from Daedalic not to start their sale on the same day as a bigger Halloween Sale? I'm just guessing.
The seasonal spooky sale is starting tomorrow then?

Saturday and sunday are closed. There is nothing to see here. Please go on! :)

Seriously, i can't remember ever seeing a sale or release on saturday or sunday.

---

Furthermore, I consider that Batman Arkham Series must be released on GOG.
So it must be today!
Come on, GOG. We're busy on Mondays. I want to make my research during the weekend.

If it was today, wouldn't it had started roughly two hours ago?

I think Monday is more like it.

I do. Several releases in fact. But not sure about a sale. Still, I'm putting my money on a sale starting during the weekend, despite the horribly low odds.

Who would doubt your word, o (almost) omniscient GOG oracle. Let us surprise. I would celebrate a Batman Arkham Halloween sale on the weekend too. :)

Out of pure curiosity: which games were released on gog on saturday or sunday?

Edit: Sale is here, but without interesting new releases.

Alas, I don't remember and I don't have any simple way of checking, but I'm pretty sure one of them was in the last year.
Surprise insomnia sale? >:)
...wishful thinking, I know. :P

Don't you think that the whole idea of upcoming sale is closed for now? Page layout has been changed for TOW release. Why should we expect anything else? I want to believe ;) but can't see any reason at the moment.

You may be right. We haven't mentioned, of course, the most trivial reason for having the weekend sale one day early: some GOG employee pushed the button a day early by mistake.

In view of the usual behavior of GOG, this is probably the most likely solution. :D

I don't know how it is for releases, but for sales mentioned in OP, we've got:
25 sales started on Monday
9 on Tuesday
11 on Wednesday
11 on Thursday
6 started on Friday
– 0 started on Saturday or Sunday

That's what I thought. But there is always a first time ...
