It's all but guaranteed to begin today, but how will the daylight savings affect the start of the sale? Are we one hour away for the start, or two hours?

Given that, at the time of writing, the regular sales end in 1 hour and 12 minutes, I'd guess that's when the sale starts.
Halloween and GOG 11th Anniversary sales should be added to the list. I wonder if we will have Black Friday sale this year considering it's gonna be very close to Winter sale.

When is that? Isn't it two weeks from now?

Black Friday is on 29th November this year, they'll probably throw mini sale before Winter sale.

For Halloween you're probably right, I'll update in a while.
For Anniversary – I don't think so, it was not big enough, I'm afraid.
I think we should find some rules to easily decide which sale qualify to the "big" list. We've got a lot of mid-range sales recently and it's really hard to find the right threshold...
Bring back INSOMNIA SALE!!!!!!

I agree and I'd prefer a good Winter Sale, instead.
The latest big promos haven't been that great.

You are right. I forgot Anniversary sale had only 80 titles discounted, the rest was DLC.

I really really liked the insomnia sales....

Twisted, I know :)
I think Insomnia Sales was great idea.
At least much better than recently offered "mystery boxes"...

It's been three years since last one,you had your time sleeping beauty
I don't think I participated in the last Insomnia sale, how did it work? Was it different to the flash deals that sometimes happen during the big sales?

I haven't participated too. From what I've heard it was totally different. One offer at a time. Limited quantity (counter). It was less predictable, because some games with great discounts were sold out very quickly. You also never know when a current offer ends and a new offer starts. F5 was your friend, sleep was your enemy ;)
Correct me, please, if you remember this format and you see that I am wrong in something.
