There is a lot of questions here about the future GOG sales and most of them end up looking for historical dates and analogies. I've made some effort here to gather the dates of all significant GOG sales from the last few years.

Now, look at the patterns and let's guess when will be the next GOG sale :)

In case of any mistakes, please, let me know. I'm going to update this post with all the future sales and I would also like to make some further research regarding previous years.

Please, remember that guessing the future sales' dates is just a fun. It cannot be predicted precisely and it's obviously the business secret of GOG team, however there are some rules and patterns, which seems obvious, when you look at dates above.

So - what's your guess? :)

...yeah, yeah, I'm getting out.
Probably nothing big until March. So wallet is mostly safe.

Exactly. Moreover, it's quite a big chance that it would not be a regular big "flat" sale (with most of titles discounted), but something different - flash offers limited in time or quantity.

It seems that proper sales start in the summer, and then almost every month there is one until the winter.

They usually do a little something special for Valentine's Day. Not store wide but for selected titles. So that will probably be the next unique mini-sale.

A clearance sale.
Who cares... serious sales fatigue here...

Now new releases on the other hand...
I had something funny to add but thanks to the lazy lying ignorant fuckheads at GOG I can't post links any more.

Way to go.

Bradly can post links. I can't. This is fair. :P

Isn't there a workaround for posting links? LIke posting the URL without the http(s)-colon-slash-slash at the beginning, or something like that?

I don't want a work around, I want a fix, but I'm not going to derail this thread anymore so I'll drop it.

:(
This is somehow comforting to know that I have at least a couple of months to try to catch up on the games I bought in December, and have my budget get back to a reasonable state before it gets ruined again by the next sale.
Cool, thanks for your effort. So next sale will probably be in March/April...I hope they'll have some interesting new releases till then.

Absolutely agree. But it also is interesting to see that sales were never in January, February, May, July or August. So never at the beginning of the year or during the summer vacation. Sales are weak during that time anyway, I guess.
