Traditionally GOG updates the price matrix on the eve of a major sale.

The price matrix was updated an hour ago, but I can't see any prospect of a big sale between now and Black Friday.

Is this a just a belated Halloween update?
GOG updated exchange rates today:

They usually do this right before the huge sale, but there are more than two weeks left until Black Friday.

Do you think this exchange rates update, along with rotating avatars "bug", could be a sign that something special is coming today? (:
Local price matrix has been updated. Not sure if it means anything - exchange rates on GOG were far from current market rates for a few weeks - but in the past matrix update was made just before launching a bigger sale.
Remarkable. The update managed to pass unnoticed for two hours, before a flurry of 3 posts within the same minute.

As far as Australia is concerned, they've chosen the moment when the exchange rate has improved to make it less favourable.

Not that I mind. I'm happy for a punitive exchange rate. When paying in USD it either makes no difference (non-regional priced), or actually makes things cheaper (regionally priced)

The trick is to have a 0% foreign fee credit card.

Polish Sale? Observer System Redux is going to be released tomorrow :) Maybe there are coming some other surprises too?
didn't we just have a sale?

Sure, but this time of year is full of sales here. 1 week break is more than enough ;) Please, note we still haven't got Fall Sale. I guess it should happen before December, which is rather a month for Winter Sale ;)

Polish sale is nice guess. November 11 is National Independence Day in Poland.
Usually Black Friday / Thanksgiving has a sale on GOG.

Obviously, Christmas, Hannukah etc will have a sale in December as well.

Yes, usually... we'll see at the start of next week.
Fingers crossed for major sale starting today, though I guess Friday would be more appropriate.

Last year, the sale started on the Thursday before Black Friday. Hopefully, this year's different.

Also, Steam will start its sale on Wednesday and a lot of other sites are already doing sales, so I imagine GOG doesn't want to be last.

My guess: it's either today or tomorrow, together with the release of Horizon. Just to start the sale ahead of Steam.
not today...
And we have a new weekly sale. >_>
Maybe it will be like last year and only start on Thursday...

Or like some have said, tomorrow is also a good bet with the release of Horizon.
