Hi all! Looking forward to a fun game! Glad to not be quite so green this time around.

The only thing I'll say about roles right now...when the game is over, it will be interesting to see if some roles went unclaimed.

On a lighter note, Vote Lifthrasil , he didn't get many votes in the last game ;-p

I was under the impression that all of the roles would be used. Is that not the case?

Also @trentonlf: On thinking about it, I can't think of any way that talking about roles would benefit town. I still don't think it's a horrible subject to get us out of RVS, but your point that it could cause a power role to reveal too much is valid (and at this point any info about a power role would benefit scum), so I see why you're against it.

Look, you don't like my analysis and think the Doctor is a worthless roll? OK, I disagree with that, because the Doctor isn't protecting power roles - he's protecting any Town against night kill. Right? You really think I'm trying to direct things because I want to play the game?

Oh, I guess we should all talk about butterflies then. My favorite is the Monarch. We went to see the big Monarch Grove down by the beach a few months ago - it's quite famous in California and really incredible.

Now this was a good contribution. What a sobering thought - I was under the assumption that every role would be handed out with only preference given - but not guaranteed - to the successful bidders.

If you want to talk butterflies and root beer be my guest, but as long as you want to discuss roles I'll keep my vote where it is.

As for the doctor role I never said it was useless, but your ability to misread posts is well known, I said the role would be more important later on than it is early. Early on the doctor does not know who to protect.

I also doubt CSPVG will answer on all the roles being taken, and common sense would dictate it's very possible that not all roles have been passed out.

Yep, and I re-posted it above. I just re-read it and it's ambiguous, although I can see now how it might be the case that you can only get a roll if you select it... meaning not every roll might be in play.
