Breja: Ok, has my temporal retina detached, or was Divinity: Original Sin already on sale yesterday? I'm pretty sure I've seen the -50% discount on it on my wishlist yesterday, but now it's showing in "fresh deals".
You're right, it was already discounted yesterday.

Ricky_Bobby: New round then. Hm, some of those Sherlock Holmes games look like my kind of thing, but then I'm considering the two Monkey Island games as well, which I've never actually played before.
I acquired Testament of Sherlock Holmes a couple years ago and tried it out and really enjoyed the few hour trial run I had in it. One thing I liked about it is that it tries to appeal to different types of gamers by having different display modes. If you like traditional point-n-click style adventures you can put it in a static-screen mode to play like traditional point-n-click games, or if you prefer 3rd person perspective full motion, you can use that instead, or you can go into full first person perspective. The 3 modes can be toggled at any time in-game by hitting a key on the keyboard also, so you can switch it up whenever you want. Very nice feature that is very gamer-inclusive! The puzzles were fun and the story/dialogue was pretty solid also. Great game!

I bought the rest of the Sherlock games GOG has during the Summer sale but haven't had a chance to try them yet. Hopefully they're decent though too. :)

Hey that sounds great ! I've always preferred the traditional point & click style, it's really nice to have that option.
I've decided to get a couple of these games, not sure which ones yet, but Testament is looking good right now.
How is that Dex game? Is it like Lone Survivor?

Not at all. Dex is a Cyberpunk RPG, utilizing platformer gameplay mechanics.

So it's not turn-based or point-and-click based, right? Do you know what engine it uses?
Offering a feature that doesn't work is worse than NOT offering anything at all. I've got AT least two of these games on Steam. Gog can't find them. I have my Steam OPEN and public for any asshole to target. Thanks for nothing.

GOG connect isnt exactly perfect, just keep trying, it should eventually work, thats how it worked for me sadly.

I understand the servers are a bit laggy, but Im just not sure if all my account settings are correct. Have I ticked off every possible way to open my steam account for gog ( and every other hacker out there ) to take a look?

No, im serious. I don't know. I've set my profile to public, but it says something about "profile status". NO idea what that is. Maybe a sticky thread about how EXACTLY to open up steam for gog would help.

That would be helpful yes, I have to say GOG's communication about this feature and how it works hasnt exactly been the best.
Oo, good stuff today! I'll be picking up a number of titles, plus doing a trade of Dying Light to one of our unfortunate German friends.
*Sees XSeed games on sale*

Ok fine, I'll buy something.

Hey that actually IS really neat. Is this present in all the games? You might have sold me on one as well. Of course, I wouldn't have to decide which.

Ia! Ia! ;)
Same issues with Anno 1404 Gold here - bought it on Steam recently, but it appears in my Steam library as the base game + DLC, hence it isn't recognized...
Here's my haul so far:

Dying Light: The Following + all DLC
Cossacks II
Corpse Party
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC
Dex
Grim Dawn
Kona *

* not on sale, part of a trade
