Now, Have you noticed that Gamersgate has raised their prices???
Legio: yesterday, 2,48 euros; today 4,98 euros
Achtung Panzer: yesterday 5,99 euros; today 10 euros
Maybe there are some other titles, but these ones were specially interesting to me.

With my huge backlog and christimas list, that's enough to discard it.

Will some kind soul from the US help me get Aura from GamersGate for $2.50 rather than £2.25? I can paypal you the money or buy you something else in exchange of reasonably close value. Plus, you'll get the (tiny number of) blue coins.
In fact, if there are 3 things you want from GamersGate, you could get my game as the free one and then you'd be making money (sort of). Anyone interested please either GogPM me or reply here and I'll come and give you my email address.

"As the winter solstice is approaching, we feel it is time to take a few days of vacation. This is, after all, when the trolls come out to feed and we will need our strengths to fight them off. Meanwhile, feel free to abuse our hospitality by grabbing a copy, or two, of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Penumbra Collection at a 50% discount. We will be back on the 3rd of January to clean up the mess.
Also, have a look at the neat improvements we’ve done to our shop.
* Taxes(vat) are now included in the displayed price, no matter what country you are in.
* Your Penumbra Collection-purchase, is no longer limited to one platform. Buy one and play Penumbra on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
* If you buy both Amnesia: The Dark Descent and the Penumbra Collection we will give you a 40% discount on the second game.
* All purchases comes with a lifetime backup of all games and serial numbers, available from Frictional Games’ shelf. Well, at least as long as we are around and able to provide the service.
* We are now able to accept payments via credit cards, PayPal, and mobile phones."

I could have sworn I was torn over getting Men of War last year when 1C had most it's titles on 75% and for some reason I can't imagine I would have done so if the combined price was 7.50 at the time...
Really rather disappointed by 1C this time :/

I wanted to point out one little game in the Gamersgate sale that might get lost in the crowd: Obulis, on sale for only $2. It's a simple, fun, relaxing - yet sometimes devious - physics puzzler, and I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it during those times when I'm just not up for something more taxing.
The only flaw (?) I would point out is that it's sometimes difficult to get the timing of the puzzles just right, so after working out the solution, you've still got to pull it off. It's not too bad, though - if you're having a really hard time executing your solution, there's probably a much easier one that you've overlooked.
I recommend it for puzzle fans who can handle some minor twitch mechanics. For two bucks, you can't go wrong with it.
