dyscode: The Silent Age is €$2.49 on HB
DRM Free and Steam.

Anyone noticed how the Janitor and the writer from Novelist look exactly the same?
That struck me immediately as well.

Here's what I'm thinking of picking up, anyone who wants to warn me away, please do. :)

The Novelist
The Silent Age
Secrets of Rætikon
Windosill
Stranded
Spirits of Xanadu

Thanks in advance!

budejovice: I do get to the point where it starts to download something. (Everything seems normal as I "save as".) Re-attempted with Firefox instead of Chrome and got a .dmg registering as 70 bytes rather than a "no file" message. I'd probably rather have nothing. :) Thanks for looking Grargar.

Grargar: Downloaded all the 1.3 GBs normally. Have you tried downloading it from the purchases section?
Edit: On further attempts, it seems that the link might or might not work correctly.
Appreciate the follow-up. I'll get it before it's too important I'm sure. It's not like my backlog is dwindling or anything - "throw another key on the fire". :)

IMHO the novelist isn't that good and I personally didn't get it.
The Silent Age is fun I played part one on iPhone I like the style of it and the puzzles aren't random or impossible.

I also had a strange issue with Humble Bundle. I could add games to the cart just fine, but as soon as I tried to checkout I would get an error message and it would clear all the titles from the cart. The error was "you must be logged in and have permissions to use overrides". I ended up using Firefox instead of Opera to avoid the error.
GreenmanGaming will have a Summer sale starting tomorrow

But the deals of the first day are already here: Day of the Undead

I don't know Spirits of Xanadu.
Windosill & Stranded are very short about 30mins, with no replayability other than the outworldish atmosphere. But I enjoyed them. Stranded got a lot of bad feedback becasue you are just a bystander to the story but I thinks that's unfair.
I bought Silent age just now. So I hope I will enjoy it.
Secrets of Rætikon is a real magical, abstract experience, really recommended IMHO. BUt I can see where people don't like it.
The Novelist I got from a HB bundle, It's not my kind of game, interaction and story are kind a meh.

PS: I have Steam key leftovers for Windosill & Novelist if you want them.
Well, I doubt anybody is interested, but just in case:

Ah, it's been a while since they've done a Dollar Days promotion! But...eh. I guess it'd only apply to me if I'd bought the BIAB 5 in the first place. '~'

Exactly - piss poor bundles going on over there again on the whole.

I'm eligible to buy at the $1 price.

Anybody have anything to trade for it? :)
