Only played the first couple of levels but I found it a pretty competent FPS. Clean, well optimized, decent challenge.
Here's another overlooked one similar to Alpha: http://store.steampowered.com/app/217920/

Both are similar to Midway's Marilyn Manson-voiced "Area 51" for the Playstation 2.

The games are relatively linear backed by a simple story - The only thing they really have going against them is that FPS has been oversaturating the gaming market for years and these are more practical for solo play than online.

carnival73: Page loads but I don't see any price difference unless considering GM's weekly voucher.
What's your displayed price? For me it is €6.99, which is cheaper than GOG, Steam and GamersGate, without any voucher application.

The one you linked turned up for me as $9.99 - Same as Steam.

Strange...

carnival73: I bought both 4 and Tekken through Steam, do I need to re-enter the serial into Steam again or is the above just in regards to those who had it only on GFWL?
You don't need to do anything for SSF4. Your serial is already registered with Steam, you'll get the GFWL to Steamworks conversion when it hits, same as everyone else who has it there.

Who knows what'll happen to original SF4 owners. Ideally they'd get an upgrade path too, but who knows.

deeply mediocre and chauvinistic on top. Same corridors and enemies the entire game, only the last few levels on the Mars surface are really fun. The game mechanics are good though, as far as I can remember. My 2c.

dyscode: depends if they die in July because of GfWL is shut down ...

Foxhack: SSF4 is being ported to Steamworks - you can redeem your GFWL key there as of a few days ago. This is so you can upgrade to Ultra SF4 in August (SSF4 owners get half off the upgrade.)

As for SF vs Tekken? Yeah, avoid that, Capcom abandoned the game a long time ago and we probably won't get fixes for it.
Good to hear Capcom isn't totally full of s**t.

Football Manager 2014 is $12.43 on Amazon today.
It is almost the same price as on Gamestop and I was hoping for slightly less but still not bad and it won't be probably much cheaper anytime soon (maybe around World Cup?).
