skeletonbow: The games are DRM free there, the part II comes as 4 files in RAR archives which must be decompressed, and part III comes in 3 RAR files. Both are downloaded from a cloud storage provider which is a little strange but it worked fine. There are no license keys for the games and none show up in your serial number section. That message probably means "If your game has license keys, then they will show up in your serial section."

Hope this helps.

HypersomniacLive: Thanks a bunch, exactly what I was hoping to hear. And I assume that an account with the cloud storage provider is not required to download, yes?
ahh, just came in late :)

no. you download the files from within you indie gala account.

Wow, that's pretty good. Do you know if GT Legends and GTR FIA GT Racing has Starforce or just Steamworks?

Thanks also to you.
And since you replied, how does Just Adventure work regarding purchasing and downloading?

As near as I can tell, it just uses Steam. I can't see any indication of additional DRM on the Steam page:

Wow, nice! I just bought that on the 23rd from Greenman for $9 and thought that was a steal. According to dealzon.com $7.49 is a new low for the price of the pack. Slick!

The rereleased versions of gtr and gtl dropped starforce for steam but due to licensing issues several cars that where in the original release are missing (Ferraris and Porsches, doh).

If gtr and gtl are the only titles you would buy the bundle for I would suggest to find a copy of gtr2. It is better than the first gtr in almost every aspect and with the Power and Glory mod you can simulate classic cars racing more accurately than gtl.

I just noticed that the devs released a 1GB patch on Steam today, adding a much requested quicksave functionality, as well as a development kit for building your own levels. Nice. :)

(Not sure how the situation is for the DRM-free release, but I hope it will be upgraded as well.)
Does anyone know if Anna is DRM-free on Desura?

It should be, but I can't swear to it. But usually they indicate if there's anything required beyond a normal download. That's one of the titles I'm looking to pick up, so if I do I will let you know for sure.

Anna requires a Kalypso account to run, at least on Steam.

Then definitely buy it from here, just launched the Extended Edition and I can confirm it's still DRM-free, no Kalypso accounts or otherwise.

So it should be free and clear.

Good to hear, I think Anna was rejected, and the dev said something like they used their early game build.
Now that its fleshed out a bit more, maybe they will re-submit it, and let it get approved.

Just bought it and can confirm it's the Full Extended Edition v2.0, about a gigabyte in size, with a direct download link for Windows. No indication of a key or anything needed, though I haven't installed it yet.
