abolat: thanks. i am currently travelling for work, so not in the US... can't use the void option. Thanks anyway. Your reply was helpful. what aspect of it made you bored, could you elaborate??
Combat was just so uninvolved. At its core it was similar to most JRPGs, but somehow it managed to feel more sluggish and boring.
There is also a trading aspect, you can travel between towns and buy/sell goods, but it seemed to lack any real depth, so instead it just turned into busywork.
Overall, it is not that GODS is a horrible game, but there are so many better games out there more worthy of your time that GODS just feels pointless.

didamangi: Still holding on for a deal that is below $20 for XCOM, but this is really tempting.
Fair enough then...

Use HOLIDAY20 on http://www.gamefly.com/Download-XCOM-Enemy-Unknown/5004241/ to get it for $20

You can also get Mass Effect 3 using that coupon for about $9.50

Gonchi: Having trouble checking out at Green Man Gaming. Apparently my bank’s blocked them or some such (wtf? I’m using a debit card…). What a pain, it’s going to be impossible to sort this out until after Christmas.

So… anyone feel like gifting me Sleeping Dogs in trade of GOGs, PayPal or something?
Apparently they get mistaken for a 'Gambling Site' alot. I think that warning also happens if too many are using the site at once.

Usually trying several more times over a ten minute period will let you through.
Well, yeah, Spec Ops The Line.

But it said [Download] rather than [Online Game Code].

It says DRM: Steam though, which means that you'll get a steam code.
