I think I'm gonna have to make a correction. It looks like Amazon's HG2 is DRM FREE. I was given no key, and I've seen no form of activation at all during install.

P.S. The HG2 deal expired a few hours after the original post. There are now some other casual games for $0.99.

Did the game play right away or require a restart to play? If it needed a restart that could indicate DRM had to be applied/authenticated before playing.

It worked for me, so thanks for that! But I'm getting a download speed of 33kb/s. A mere 64 hours left to download it... Oh well at least it's free.

GameRager: Did the game play right away or require a restart to play? If it needed a restart that could indicate DRM had to be applied/authenticated before playing.
No restart that I could see.
At the last stage of install, it asked if I wanted to install DX9.0c, I said no, the game launched in 1280x1024, I changed some gfx settings and resolution, (the game did not restart), and I launched the Learning Campaign.
That was it.

It does at least have a resume feature so I'll only leave it going when I'm doing other things on the computer anyway.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter - $3.00/£2.00/€3.00
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas II - $2.49/£2.49/€2.49
Borderlands - $3.99/£1.99/€2.99
Gamer's Gate states that their version of Borderlands is not compatible with the DLC, so the Get Games version may not be either.

I am considering Rainbow Six Vegas II, does anyone have an opinion on the single player gameplay?
