Kevin04: It's actually not available via Galaxy anymore, GOGDB just lists all builds it ever encountered there. To see the currently available ones, check the API links given on https://www.gogdb.org/product/1774901766#details:

Windows: https://content-system.gog.com/products/1774901766/os/windows/builds?generation=2
macOS: https://content-system.gog.com/products/1774901766/os/osx/builds?generation=2
Thank you. I didn't know that. I would consider this to be a GOGDb bug. It should remove builds from the builds tab when they are removed from galaxy.

I would keep that information for historical purposes - but it would indeed be nice to easily see which ones are available via Galaxy. I opened an issue on GitHub about it, maybe Yepoleb can implement it at some point.
GOTHIC - GOG - UPDATE
https://www.gog.com/en/game/gothic

Today Gothic joins the GOG Preservation Program.
The new version (1.08k_UNION_fixes_v2) contains the Union Patch and has all the languages (updated also the game page):

• English
• Deutsch (German)
• español (Spanish)
• français (French)
• italiano (Italian)
• polski (Polish)
• český (Czech)
• русский (Russian)

See attached [gothic_gogpp.png]

Missing nothing (compared to Steam game page languages).

OMG, I hope not, I think it's extremely important to have all the game history, also to see what is updated and when (builds have a lot of information in their page).

It's fundamental to understand what happened with some updates and to report issues to Devs for example.

Or did I misunderstood what you mean?

The history is available in the Changelog tab. I believe the Builds tab should reflect the current state, just like the Downloads tab does.

The Changelog is not complete, was deleted some years ago and restarted, and has no info about builds.

Look at Gothic Changelog to see this:
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1207658682#changelog
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1207658682#builds

Build 491 dated 2015-01-08 is only in Builds
https://www.gogdb.org/product/1207658682/build/491

The current available builds in Galaxy could be showed with another column in Builds tab.
I you click on the "Build ID" you'll see a lot of information, all this would be lose.
Moreover in Build ID page you can click on the "Manifest ID" to have other info.
It would be absurd to loose all this IMO.

EDIT:
And only in Build ID page you can see if a Galaxy version is in a "develop" branch, which is fundamental to know why there is no Offline Installer. Sometimes there are a lot of develop versions and if you see them only in Changelog you'll understand nothing.

If GOG operated as a public archive or library, maybe this would be bureaucratically significant information.
Frankly though, what does this minutia have to do with treating customers as second class citizens when "changelogs are bad" has been a universal constant?

I don't really understand what do you mean, but...

I'm answering to this thing beyond this thread, to make clear that GOGDB is really important and fundamental with all the info it provides in my eyes. I hope no one will destroy this wonderful source of information.
I was contacted back again by GOG and they again corrected some of the store pages that didn't list available languages. Not all: there was a misunderstanding with True Fear and I did not report Death to Spies and Earth 2140 Trilogy, because in those cases I know that the languages are there, but I don't know if they're just text or audio & text. I also found a guy who owns Maid of Sker and could confirm me about Welsh. I'm preparing another email in a few days.

I'd like you to check the entry of Children of Morta for me, to confirm that I understood what exactly is the situation with its patches.

Could anyone check on Gothic 2? Because it was included in the Preservation Program but it appears it's still missing Spanish

Gothic 2 is lacking Spanish in Offline Installers as always.
There's no new GOGPP game version (yet?), but in extras has been added "2.7 Vanilla OpenGothic 1.0.3010 GOG", which I have not installed (yet).

Well, this is complicated, to say the least.

By the way, I got confirmation that Maid of Sker actually includes Welsh, so that's nice. I sent another email to list games whose store pages don't mention certain languages. I made sure to clear up the misunderstanding concerning True Fear. But I still didn't report Death to Spies and Earth 2140 Trilogy, because I want to be sure whether the missing languages are just text or audio and text.
Third tab in the sheet has some stats and credits included now. More stats can be added, if you want anything in specific just let us know.

Nice.
Maybe a ranking of what appears most often for missing updates alone would be good to have? And at least for that it'd be useful to have the list for devs as well as for publishers.

I don't think I fully understood that question. You mean a separate "Appears most often" list that only amounts for developers depending on the amount of Missing Updates, and excluding all the other categories?

A list made specifically for developers wouldn't be a bad idea. In my opinion it's much less urgent than the one for publishers, because in the great majority of cases missing features are decided by publishers, and developers have little say on the matter, but it's still useful data to have. But my concern at this point is the organisation of the file. The first sheet is already crowded, so I'd need some time to think about a rearrangement for the third sheet.

EDIT: I moved the third sheet in second position, because I think Statistics and Credits are slightly more useful than the list of games that were removed from GOG so are no longer available to buy anyway. I also added a list of how many Mac and Linux builds are missing exactly or are outdated, and a list of how many times languages are missing.
