I see what you're saying. In this instance once 8 people have voted No lynch it's not possible for a majority to reach a lynch anymore so a no lynch happens.

And what about 8 votes for player A vs 8 votes for no-lynch? You end the day and don't leave a chance for any of those people to change their minds?

Dinna make sense, ta me. Majority needed to carry anything, including no-lynch. Players change minds all the time. Some more than their underwear.

Are we going to talk about the fact that yogsloth claimed Town Cop in the first post, and that he may have had some night zero action (otherwise, why claim), or are we just chalking that down to silliness somehow linked to RVS?

He seems to have ignored any response on the matter. I even asked him a few minutes after he posted what he was thinking, he has not answered yet.

Going all in and playing the character might give away things and throw the game off a bit. But I like to try to add my character in to my play style a bit if I can.

Also I may have to go back and re-read but I think it said to wave to our fans as compared to spill the beans to who we are.

Im here! Working on a wonderful Saturday. I also had no idea the game had started. Being at work I was keeping an eye on my pms. I thought we would get a link the thread. I was wrong and had to stumble upon it myself. =) I need to spend more time looking through GOG anyway.

Just trying to stay vocal with this post (hope I can keep up when the posts start tumbling in seriously...)
But my two cents on "No-Lynch" not needing a majority, I think the explanation Rwarehall gave makes alot of sense and we just have to be carefull about "hammering" the NoLynch early.

Also those Editelves sure are a fun bunch, I like your poems agent ;) (*just hoping they won't ever hit me, you don't wanna hear me try being poetic ;)

Also it's RVS and I think I wanna throw out my RVS Vote before stuff get's serious:
So Vote Yogsloth because I think after your claim you're pretty much anything but a Town Cop.
On the other hand maybe you are and want some protection, but what if you don't get it and get Night Killed in the first night before you could even once tell us anything you found out? Seems a waste, so I don't think you'd do that.
Anyway it's not a serious vote because it's RVS and I'm a noob, and I'll take a mind not to throw votes around carelessly. So I'll unvote as soon as things get serious.

Nobody answered my question of how they are doing. Fine! I don't want to talk to you either.

I'm a newb too, but I think I might have an idea what Yog is doing. I don't know what all the possibilities are in the game yet, so I don't want to mess things up by sharing my idea. It could be I'm totally wrong, or maybe Yog did something clever.

Unless he really is Town Tourette's.

If you have an idea share it, only way Town will win is if we communicate and work together. Lone wolf or afraid to speak up will kill Town momentum quicker than anything.

Let's speculate what yog's is for some odd reason doing.

1. He is really a Town Cop and throwing it out there to gain protection.
2. He is Scum trying to get investigated because he has a role that can show Town.
3. He is joking and creating unnecessary drama and talk about roles, again.

Also a convoluted theory that crossed my mind, He is Scum that has a role that reads town and is hoping to either get investigated or protected because he has a Scum buddy who is a Watcher. His buddy will watch him tonight and see what Townie comes a knocking so now Scum know who to take out the next night or try and get lynched during the day.

Whatever reason yog's had for claiming out of the gate I can't think of a good one for Town, and am still waiting to see what he has to say.

Back from concert 1, shattered but not much has happened so I'm caught up.
Somewhat tempted to place a real vote on yogs for his (presumably) false claiming antics, but I'm not sure that's not exactly what he wants.. (also he doesn't like the Foos and for that he should clearly die [or be evicted or whatever we do])

Otherwise seems to be mostly typical RVS stuff.
