Niggles: Any biggish ones coming up?.
Only one I recall is a new Obsidian one, probably in April.
A challenging gothic roguelike RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring.
Darkest Dungeon

Blackmore will be developed first for PC and Mac and will be made available on Steam and other DRM-free digital download distribution methods.
XD - love it every single time I read it :-P

Game will actually be freeware (will be drm free) , but they have signed up for Steam for some reason. Im curious if GOG would be interested in helping distribute a freeware game????

Unless i missed something, people who choose steam version will get each chapter one by one via EA while those who choose GOG get squat and have to wait til the final release? (while the episodic concept is interesting..it gets a bit tiring when devs copy off each other)....
A sci-fi dungeon crawler CRPG:

The chapters will be available earlier only though Early Access, but that's a bonus available to all backers, regardless of the chosen platform. So you can choose GOG for the full game, and still play the chapters via Steam as they come out.

Wait, just noticed the post here which seems to contradict that, maybe I'm reading the response I got wrong.

Double edit, seems like they've had a bit of a communication breakdown on this subject, but in the end indeed it'll be possible to switch from Early Access to another channel.

I read it the other way around... the people that choose early access get the game in bits and pieces. Just when they are starting to have fun they reach a "to be continued" marker and have to wait. Additionally, they have stated that each episode will be used for fan feedback to determine how the next one goes (especially in terms of polish and finding bugs). But, those choosing to buy on GOG get the full, polished game all at once. GOG version for me, hands down ;)

But as mentioned, there is still confusion about whether early access locks you to the Steam version only. If they provide both to backers... win/win.
Kind of slim pickings for Kickstarter at the moment gamewise.

The Kickstarter for La Mulena 2 looks like it'll reach its minimum amount. Still would be awesome to see some of the stretch goals met and make it a more complete experience.

There's also Olympia Rising which looks like fun. Always enjoy playing games based on the still awesome mythology of Ancient Greece.

Darkest Dungeon
No wonder Darkest Dungeon was funded in 1 day, it looks gorgeous!
Nothing to Hide

An anti-stealth game where you have to make sure there's always a camera watching you. It features puzzle-style game-play where you have to displace cameras while making sure there's always at least one camera watching you or you die.

There's an 8 level HTML5 demo you can check out in your web browser.

The pledging works on a mile-stone basis: 25% of your pledge is taken if the funding goal is reached and a further 25% each is taken when the alpha, beta and release mile stones are reached. All code and assets are in the public domain and can be re-used however you want.
Dungeon Uprising

Dungeon Uprising will be unlike any other dungeon crawler game on the market, ever. Imagine joining up to five other players to take on a dungeon that is ran by an actual person! You will have the choice to join a matchmaking queue as either a Hero or Dungeon Master.

Multiplayer/co-op centric game.Ill pass (doubt they will put much effort into the AI cause of this)
