Really really enjoying K. M. Shea's book Enthroned, King Arthur and Her Knights, 1/2 done with it.

(I don't know if I want to be on the master list of usernames or not, as I don't read that many books anymore, and might forget to comment here if I do.)
Swords of Steel Omnibus
Well of the Worlds, by Henry Kuttner
Supercade, by Van Burnham
Amazing Stories, March 1942
The Deep Blue Good-by, by John D. MacDonald
The Godblade, by J. Christopher Tarpey
Speaks the Nightbird, by Robert McCammon

2020 was a terrible reading year for me. So much sitting around, I felt bad doing more to read. I'll join in here should I get a couple done. I haven't even read either of last year's Dresden Files books!
Klaus-Jürgen Müller, Generaloberst Ludwig Beck. Eine Biographie.

A biography of general Ludwig Beck, chief of staff of the German army from 1933 to 1938, when he retired because of his opposition to Hitler's war policy; later he became one of the leaders of the plot of 20 July 1944. The book is a bit slow going for the first 200 pages (of 540) or so, but gets progressively more interesting, as it traces Beck's intellectual evolution (from initial support for Hitler's regime and organizer of a massive rearmaments campaign to principled opponent and finally conspirator). Very interesting, if also rather depressing.
My rating: 4/5.

"Potop" - part two of Trylogia Sienkiewicza (Sienkiewicz's Trilogy), written to "comfort Poles' hearts", as the author described it himself, in time when Poland was partitioned by nearby powers in nineteenth century. Part one, "Ogniem i Mieczem" ("With Fire and Sword") became moderately famous after being made into a mod for Mount & Blade: Warband.

Ordinarily I prefer shorter reads and this is one of the longest books I've ever read, but it was worth it if for historical value alone (even though it's a history fiction book, it's based on true events). I won't get into details as it would probably not mean much for anyone outside of Poland. What I do believe (although it's not officially confirmed) is that Sapkowski drawn heavily from those books while writing his "Witcher" series.

To be completely honest I liked first part much more, as this one is quite a heavy read. Still I'm looking forward to third book in the trilogy - "Pan Wołodyjowski" (Thankfully this one is much shorter than previous ones).
