It's fine, not bad, not great.

Mankind Divided while fun doesn't really push the series further in any direction, it feels like a spin off, that tries to copy what worked for Human Revolution. The sounds are fine. The music is a high point though. The graphics are really good. The world is small compared to previous entries. There are a few QOL improvements, the hacking mini game was improved, but there aren't a ton of new augments Also to get the game to sync up I had to rely on 1 hard save plus the quicksave. I can't really recommend the game, it's fine, you won't be missing much if you skip it. I suggest getting Human Revolution instead + the Original 2000 Deus Ex.

I've been in car crashes less abrupt

Title says it all, got this game on steam some time ago, and really enjoyed the gameplay, and the story. The BIG caveat to this game is how abruptly it comes to an end. After what feels like the first major boss in the game, the story concludes and credits begin to roll; I played through the game with limited help from guides and unaware of any spoilers; So I was honestly shocked when the game came to such an abrupt and unceremonious end. I'd recommend getting the game on sale as you're paying for about 1/3 to 1/2 of what the game shouldve been so I cant recommend buying it for the full asking price $62AUD for a half finished game? give me a break. Pick this up when its under $20, you have a weekend to kill, and you're really in the mood to be torn out of a game just as you're starting to enjoy it and feel immersed.

Don't skip side quests they are worth it

Although this entry feels unfinished leaving on a cliffhanger unlike Human Revolution, the side quests quality, amount of secrets to find and detail to each place surpass it's previous entry. I had no issues with the game aside from some random crashes something I had issue back on PS4 as well. I recomend playing this on a good SSD, it will smooth the frame rate big time, it's a night and day difference for me when I instaled it on my Samsung 980Pro.

The 2nd best Deus Ex Game

Before saying anything about Mankind Divided, there is really only one Deus Ex game that matters, the very first one, which I'd say deserves the title of greatest FPS of all time. Compared to that every other Deus Ex game is a joke, but I think every sequel still has some good points. Personally for me Mankind Divided is the 2nd best Deus Ex game. The biggest problem I had with Invisible War and Human Revolution was that the characters felt completely artificial and unreal. They didn't behave like real characters and while I was still able to enjoy those games, in the end they felt kind of empty. It's been 2 years since I played the Deus Ex series in one go and even now I feel a strong connection to Mankind Divided. When it comes to world building, atmosphere, believable characters and dialogues, Manking Divided was a huge improvement to Human Revolution. I liked how they managed to make the City of Prague really immersive as well as other locations you visit. Overall I think they did a good job. I won't compare this to the first Deus Ex game because there is no other fps that comes close that one (except the first System Shock for me). To sum it up, I'd say this game deserves to have Deus Ex in its title

GOG did it once again

I own it on Steam, but review it here. Game was a nice sequel to DE: HR, at least for me. I am still playing Breach mode, which is the least favourite aspect of this game, as it requires connectivity to Square Enix servers and pushes micro-transactions to the forefront (you are not required to purchase anything though and can still play it just fine). That coupled with story being cut short drops rating to 4/5. However, I still keep hoping Eidos will finish up the trilogy and release the final installment on GOG from the day one. I will gladly purchase it form the day one for a full price. I guess I have to stop buying good games on Steam, because this is maybe 8th or 9th acclaimed AAA game in a row that I have purchased on Steam and played through it all only to find it released here several months after my purchase. So what's next - Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed series? Jokes aside, Steam achievements still work much better than GOG Galaxy ones, I have repeatedly run into issues with some achievements not-unlocking.
