Sage103082: Hiajck! You need to take a few minutes and let someone else post before posting under yourself. The mighty mod is going to be pissed.
Yes, I realized I need to chill out for a second after it happened AGAIN! :/ My bad.

Hard not to do when you forget to post something, I always do a face palm afterwards LOL

As do I. In the first few hours of our adventure I had to leave the forums for a few to make sure I did not double post...and despite my best effort on spelling, I keep screwing up and have to sigh and leave it be. lol.

GreenDigitalWolf: Vote Krypsyn

He's the only one that I think makes sense to nominate. If he were a villager he could had waited to see how everyone else acted, but he voted for someone right away. Maybe he tried to initiate a vote bandwagon, taking advantage of villager's lack of information.

Or maybe all of that is nonsense and he just voted for RWarehall because he still has resentment against him. Maybe he is a villager and he just wanted to post so other people didn't think of him as a lurking werewolf. But maybe he did that being one...

This is confusing, but it's the better I can do :p
It is the Random Vote Stage (RVS), in case you, or anyone else, was confused.

The rest of what you posted is WIFOM (Wine in Front of Me) and is what this game is all about. :P
Quick question. Since trentonlf does a ton of giveaways, participants of this thread will probably have to avoid his giveaways, because in the event of winning one they will inevitably communicate with him via PM, which is against the rules, if I'm not mistaken.
I believe we can not communicate about the game, giveaways are a different matter ;)

I asked in the sign up about PM about other things and Ixamyakxim said that was fine. Just no PMing about the game at all. I would copy it from that thread but I think that might be against the rules.

Also in reference to Krypsyn and the RVS. This stage is the hardest for me. I hate to point fingers randomly without any ideas or hints as to who to vote for.

Ehh... I PM with folks all the time who I am in games with. Just don't talk about the game. It is pretty much on the honor system, because there really is no way to enforce it (other than this being a pretty tight-nit Mafia community, and word might get around...).

Oh, so there's a name for that! I hate when I get to that situations.

Is there really a way to know the plans of someone or you just have to guess? Because you could go forever thinking like this: "but that's just what he wants me to think, so I'll do the opposite…but maybe that's what he want's me to think…so I'll not do the opposite…but maybe that's what he want's me to think…"
avatar
trentonlf: HijacK and SentinelWolf are both being aggressive in nominations, hmmmmm now I see the need for the survey by Krypsyn.
avatar
HijacK: You call us aggressive because we suspect you. Isn't that suspicious behavior in itself? :P

Sage103082: 5 o'clock shadow.. you must need your eyes checked. That would be dirt from busting my ass working all day. Someone needs to work to keep his village running and if not the women then who. I swear with cooking cleaning wash and now tending the veggies..I might just die from exhaustion before the wolves drag me down. =)
avatar
HijacK: Men who treat women like that obviously don't know what to do with them...... (=_=*)...... I rest my case.
In a chivalrous mood, HijacK takes over tending the veggies and hanging a rough hewn garment from a far-too-long heifer. While doing so, a strange tinkling is heard from a nearby shrubbery. Glancing upward, it is impossible to ignore the pointy hat and sinister, glinting eyes glaring back...

This is a good opportunity to remind everyone that GOG forums *edit* and merge posts if 10 minutes haven't passed since your last post, uninterrupted by a different user!

BEWARE THE EDIT ELVES!

Also, far be it from me to interfere with trentonlf's generosity. PMs concerning the game are forbidden! But if you use good sense and avoid "conflicts" you can PM each other for issues outside the scope of the game.

Yeah, some people hate it, some people love it, very few are indifferent. I like having an excuse to be ridiculous, so I quite enjoy it. :)

That is the whole game. The set up, no matter if the game is Werewolf, Mafia, or some other name, is to pit an ignorant majority ("villagers" in this game, aka "town") against a knowledgeable minority ("werewolves" in this game, aka "scum")). The scum knows who their scumbuddies are, and thus know who is town, at the start. Town has to guess who is scum by their actions, and hopefully lynch them.

For instance, your question above is implicitly a villager expressing ignorance. Are you really asking, or are you a werewolf acting ignorant to curry favor? I have my own theory, as I am sure everyone else reading what you wrote has. It is how the game works. :)

I do believe there is a seer (investigator, policeman) too right?

trentonlf: I do believe there is a seer (investigator, policeman) too right?
Yeah, I was waiting the 10 minutes to add that point.

Here is a link to common Werewolf roles.

trentonlf: I do believe there is a seer (investigator, policeman) too right?
I get to jump in a lot tonight!

Yes, there is a seer. As far as game structure goes I intend it to be "perfect knowledge" - two wolves, one seer, the rest villagers. I did mention it in the "setup thread" - I'm a bit new to this so do PM me if you think this is something worthwhile / needed to be included in the thread's first post.

Damn edit elves! They promised me a pot of gold! But they said something about the end of a rainbow, which is BS since the specter of a rainbow is actually a circle, which basically is an endless loop. THERE IS NO GOLD! THE GOLD IS A LIE!
