Whether you bought the game, got the demo in a box of Kellogg's, or haven't even heard of it - here's your chance to visit the Wild West!

Go on a journey to New Mexico in 1881 as one of the six Desperados that are on the hunt for the train robbing "El Diablo." As John Cooper, the bounty hunter engage your enemies in a real time strategy game - think [url=http://www.gog.com/en/catalogue#all_genres/search/commandos/]Commandos but with revolvers and a Wild West setting. Utilize each team member's unique skillset, ranging from carrying Gatling guns or faking a siesta to special equipment like Mia's monkey or Samuel with his love for TNT. Overcome the engaging missions with unique setting and scenery. Challenge the robust AI system which makes each try at a mission a unique experience.

Apart from the enemies, your heroes also have unique gameplay features like Quick Action which lets you bind a series of actions into one button, so you can shoot your enemies "John Wayne style".

So what game made you ride with the outlaws? It's Desperados, we think :)
I remember the demo for Dead or Alive was the first game I played on the first computer that was mine and mine alone.
Never played the full game, though. Wishlist'd for now.

Firefox tells me: "Live Bookmark feed failed to load."
I'm using the same URL as above too.

ovoon: PLEASE GOG, ADD ROBIN HOOD LEGEND OF SHERWOOD! It's not exactly well known, and it's by the same people. This game is an instant purchase for me, thank you!
You can buy Robing Hood: Legends of Sherwood on what I think of as GOG's little-known and less developed sister site DotEmo. A lot of their limited and infrequently added to catalog of titles are adventure games that overlap with GOG's, though you can find the odd title there not on GOG, like Post Mortem.
alright, first of all... I LOVE YOU GUYS FROM GoG!!!! .. I had this game years ago, but a friend ask for the cd, just to test it, see how the game was, and as clearly guessed, the game never did return.... and now, I own it again!

THANK YOU!

edit: there's no second... just love you guys....

Now I remember this game... I returned it because my system at the time of release couldn't handle more than one level between restarts for some reason.

Now I can play more than a single level at a time I see that I wasn't missing much; a shame I feel I've wasted my money rather than buying a 'better' game offered here.

Hmm. Looks interesting and has decent graphics. Not really my type of game though. But with the two previous releases, I can forgive this one. Thanks GOG!
Yep, I'll be needing a copy of this un . . . =)
Yes! Finally! Thank you, GOG, thank you! Whishlisted for now (I'm kinda broke), but next month, when I get my money back, I'll purchase the hell out of this game!
Can anyone confirm that it doesn't lag when viewing an enemy's view cone? The original did on newer computers. Q6600 + HD4850 here.

I think Desperados is better than Commandos. If Commandos had Quick Action, it would be a draw.

And to anyone wishing it was different - it's like wishing CoD was more like Fallout and had VATS. Completely pointless. Desperados is a great game. If you don't have the brain power for it, look elsewhere.
That...looks and sounds like my kind of game. Wishlisted.
This game looks like one I could seriously get into, even though I don't have much experience w/this type or genre. I like the difficulty, PC plus party members, and the setting & story.

However, I haven't played most of the games I've bought already, still have a few games wishlisted after that, am anticipating a game coming to GoG which hasn't arrived yet, and have to be judicious w/the money I have. So I won't be buying this game yet, but will have it in mind.

But a question begs to be asked: Why don't they make games like this anymore? Or have they and I've juss missed it?
Desperados is some good business. It's spiritual sequel, Robin Hood, is even better, and we can certainly see it coming soon, seeing as it runs basically on the same engine and all.
I feel so much disappointment around me about this release that I completely do not understand. Guys, c'mon, this is a very good game and at least some appreciates its coming to GOG. If you don't like this kind of games you are free to get something else or wait for other releases. Somehow I do not see so much complaining about other releases. Does it mean that you liked all other releases except this one? Really?
