Yeah, games staying that way forever is one of the main reasons why I try to avoid early access games.

I believe I heard some recommendations for this one from friends, but I stay away from early access stuff. I guess I'll have a look when it releases

I really like this game. I've owned it on steam for eons. Unless they're going to give me a free GOG key, I likely won't buy it here. It's DRM free on steam.

Very nice to see this game coming on here soon. :D

I originally got my copy through the KSP Store since June 17th, 2012 (though I have actually started playing the old demo since February 2012), which is like a DRM-free copy by itself.

Never has been. Even if you bought the Steam version you can run it without the client running.
