It's official: Kerbal Space Program​ is coming to GOG.com this Monday, in a day-one release!

For those of you that don't know, it's a game of spaceship building (and - more often than not - prompt spaceship-destroying, or at least spaceship-crash-landing) as you strive to create your own space program with the huge help of little pilot helpers that seem to lack basic survival instincts.

It'll be appearing on Monday - I'm not yet sure at exactly what time, but I'll share it if I find out a bit beforehand!

So, who's excited? I know I am!

[EDIT] There'll be a pre-release stream of the game with Scott Manley himself (you may know him better as szyzyg from YouTube, the guy that made Kerbals surf) at Twitch.tv/GOGcom tonight, 10pm GMT (6pm EDT/3pm PDT)!

If you read this after Sunday, check the past broadcasts section for the stream :)

Hope to see some crazy creations from the folks here in the soon to be official KSP thread :)

Any plans on something like the Don't Starve updater, since KSP is a games that, well, updates heavily (I guess)?

I heard that game was almost totally impossible, I mean TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE as in almost half as hard as Cossacks.

Does the game also involve exploring the universe (landing on other planets and having sort of rogue-like exploration on them)?

I'm not excited, was kind of expecting it when I read it was going out of alpha last week.
It would be great if GOG had some kind of New & Upcoming list though.

Just watch this video from the creators that gives a pretty good feel of what the game is like and you'll have a fair idea of what it's like (assuming you ever get past BUILDING a spaceship, of course!). ;)
