If you buy it during the first week Buzz Aldrin will come to your house and show you how the game works. The problem is getting rid of him. Miss your opportunity to tell him to go and prepare for several days of listening to stories of how losing at Rock Paper Scissors made him only the second guy walking on the moon and how he was totally going for scissors but he had trouble separating his fingers in the space suit and ended up accidentally doing rock while he was actually trying to stretch the glove. Same thing happened to me when I pre-ordered Microsoft Space Simulator.

Buzz Aldrin is great! He should have been the first man on the moon. Did you see the video where he punched some idiot who thought the moon landing was a hoax?

Yeah, SQUAD is rather refreshing that way. KSP has full Steam integration, yet you can still copy it to a thumb drive and the run it on a completely different machine without Steam. Or the same machine, the game's not picky.


However, I basically only have the Steam version because when I bought the game the Mac updater literally didn't work at all for three versions straight, so I redeemed my free Steam key that I got for buying it before it was on Steam. Because if there is one thing Steam is good at, it's updating files.

which is half the fun of this game. :)
The other half is figuring it out, and many gameplay and tutorial videos kinda spoil it.
